HairOnFire
C'mon Hair... Go somewhere with this. Go out on a limb. Say they shouldn't fire Marvin.I mean... you would be wrong, but I agree with you on the fundamentals. Marvin isn't the problem. Actually, that's pretty darn close to the things I've already said in other posts. Yup, and that's why I keep doing things like checking the color of the sky, the consistency of water (still wet) and whether it still hurts if I slam my head in a door a la Kill Bill, because a world in which you ding Mike Brown for anything is definitely not the world I knew. Well, there's the thing because your ability to understand things seems rather dubious from time to time. Regardless, how many of you have written one of those "I can't believe you said that about Mike Brown" posts? Jet? Steakhouse? Spor_tees? Hoosier? All of you have, right? In fact, each of you has written that particular line of crap multiple times. So in the manner of the old saying...."If I had a dollar for everytime some idiot professed to be suprised when I criticize Mike Brown I would be a very wealthy man." So, there's that. Furthermore, while lurking through weeks and months worth of older posts I stumbled accross one of the many "who's to blame" related threads. In that thread you, my favorite Hoosier, concluded there was plenty of blame to go around and you then went on to point damning fingers in multiple directions. And you were correct to do so. But simply stating the obvious, which is what you've always been best at, was more than enough to prompt the rather predictable response that you had begun acting a Mike Brown apologist. So of course, you stopped immediately...apparently because you still care what a dink might think. And there's the rub, right?

If anyone wants to contend that the coaches and players don't deserve their fair share of blame for the state of the season and the team, all I can say is that they haven't been paying attention. Kazkal
Can you really say that before the season started, if someone told you that Vince Young would have a mental melt down and would not be the starter for Tennessee, that they would be undefeated or anywhere close to that? Most thought they were gonna be good but probably no one thought 9-0,Vince Young really doesn't matter simply because it was his team winning games not him.Quick, name the leading receiver for the Titans...it's their tight end Bo Scaife. What?!? The leading receiver is the tight end?Receiving tight end? no wai Tony G,Antony Gates & Alge Crompler have never had big years....He leads t Ok now name one DB for the Titans...give up yet?Well had you asked me IRL I could have named 3 being that I remember Chris Hope going to them I remember them drafting griffin and then I remember Harper also going to them : PThe reason they are overachieving is because they have a good coach...bottom line.I've never once said fisher was bad and I've always liked him myself but with that being said they have more then a good coach their a good origination in general. I mean if you can't recognize the obvious then how can you recognize underlying factors? Some people fall into the saying "Not able to see the forest through all the trees..." I would have to say that at least me and Hoosier can not only see the forest, but all the woodland creatures as well.
