7/11 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Myers and Thornton are getting up there in age, I don't see both of them sticking when they have lots of younger studs ready to go.Myers I predict will stick. I think Thornton, our Captain "not so" Fantastic will be cut. Or so at least I hope. A leader he is not, nor is he that good a player.as much as i dislike thornton as a player, he is undeniably a leader on the defense. the young guys look up to him and he keeps them in line. even though i don't see him playin too terribly much this season, there is zero chance of him being cut, imo. his leadership is too valuable to this young defense at this point.
