semiotter Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Hey I think we will get it done tonight. HARANG is pitching good , the REDS are HOT. And hey CINCINNATI is good at upsets ask the K.C CHIEFS. GO REDS Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I really don't consider the Reds beating the Astros with Clemens pitching an upset. The Reds are really coming together as a team, and sometimes the better the pitcher, the better they hit. Example: Greg Maddux. He's an ace of the Cubs and he hardly stymied the Reds hitter!Confidence there Semi...just have confidence Quote
turningpoint Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 i think we should we have a strong lefty line up going at a righ handed pitcher. I really belive we'll pull through but it's gonn have to be a low scored i'm thinking like maybe a 4-2 or 3-1 game. Quote
Kirkendall Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 They need to be fired up like they were last night. They played with fire and energy, we need that against tonight if we have a chance; but a chance I do believe we have. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Well the Reds drew first blood, so he IS hit-able! Remember the harder the pitcher throws, the more distance you get on the ball when you DO make contact! Oh s**t! Dunn just doubled with the bases juiced! Clemens is getting SHELLED!! Quote
semiotter Posted May 23, 2004 Author Report Posted May 23, 2004 Not complaining but we missed alot of chances to score more. But i like where its going, so far Quote
B24 Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Clemons can only lose this game now, he can't win it. He was relieved after 5 innings after allowing 6 runs.Current score:Astros 5Reds 6 Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Well one thing is for sure...Rocket Roger won't BEAT the Reds this time! He just got yanked trailing by one run! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 You called it Semi! Good job Reds!! Quote
semiotter Posted May 23, 2004 Author Report Posted May 23, 2004 Now thats baseball. a little bit of everything. Was a little worried in the 9th but JUAN CASTRO made the plays like were used to seeing him make, and REDS WIN, REDS WIN. What a game. ) . OH MAN , What a division. Quote
skyline Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 yeah, who would have thought their division would be so good! Quote
Bourgeois_Rage Posted May 24, 2004 Report Posted May 24, 2004 The division is usually pretty good. The Cubs, St. Louis, and Houston are good teams year in and out. Throw in a another team in the division stepping up and you've got a tough one. They often end up beating each other up pretty good and missing out on the wildcard. Quote
