Bengals Cut Three

A little odd they'd chop them now, usually you want as many bodies as you can get going into camp. Just being nice and giving them a chance to catch on elsewhere, I guess.

Ludwig cleared it up. Even with these cuts the Bengals are still 3 over the roster limit for camp. I thought I had read they had cut down to 80 already but I guess not. So still a few cuts to come.

I can't wait to see the final cutdowns. We'll be forced to cut some good players this year, that will make other teams. I think that Jackson, Kilmer, H.Jones, DeDe Dorsey, Chatman, Holt and others are Bengals players that have had good moments with the Bengals that might not be back this upcoming season.

I'm guessing that since Maurice is spending a few weeks in SoCal with Collins, Palmer, Palmer II, TJ & Chad that he'll make it to camp. A good move on his part spending time with CP and also a good move for his maturity spending time with Collins. If he shows an ability to stay clean, he certainly has the skill set to be a receiver in this league.

Oh cmon man, i don't care but ill take a tall ass receiver over a short fast guy any day, and with the 3 guys we drafted i hope they are our 3rd 4th and 5th behind chad and TJ, F**K chatmans slow ass, and F**K holt and his terrible returns. Get some young talent on this squad not other team rejects. I was never happy signing chatman since he was cut by greenbay, the way i see it if a player is cut from a worse offence he shouldn't be playing on ours.

I'd like to see him get a chance at 6th WR spot with any other huge target

cause we have 4 decent sized guys with speed we need a endzone target now.

guys like Blair, Britt, Glaathar, Howell, and Whealey who have no chance of making the roster will be cut next. They will take all their WRs to camp where guys like Purify, Maxwell, Logan, and Brown will all compete with Urrutia and vets like Chatman and Holt.

So we have seven guys for 2 positions, its going to be a battle royale.

I also like the orster competition at RB.

They seem to really like this James Johnson kid out of K-State, I wouldn't say Watson and Dorsey are locks to make this team, it all depends on Perry's health. They will likely keep 3 RBs with Irons going on IR so whomever survives training camp may be cut when Irons comes back after week 8.

I'd like to see Chatman gone as well, I just think Purify will be another reciever who will tease us with the ability to make big plays but we'll all talk about him being an unfortunate waste of NFL size and talent because of his off-field issues.
