kevinc1129
Always nice to see Jr. hit one out every here and there. Looking forward to him passing Sosa on the list !!!I'm with you there! Man, Griffy's FAT. Why did he let himself go?He's 40 years old...everyone ages. The swing is still sweet though.
ArmyBengal
Volquez picks up his 12th win of the season while striking out 10 in the win over the Brewers. Dunn hit 2 dingers...To bad they can't be consistent...WHODEY !!!
BengalszoneBilly
Volquez picks up his 12th win of the season while striking out 10 in the win over the Brewers. Dunn hit 2 dingers...They are just 3 games from .500 and a real chance to make a run on the Cubbies who got lucky today against the Giants. Of course Lou Pinella has a way of getting luck to fall his way. The Reds 1990 "Wire-To-Wire" season proved that to me.
ArmyBengal
I would love to see the Reds hit the .500 mark, but to think they are going to make a run will require them to be FAR more consistent then they have been. Watch, tomorrow the Brewers will shut them out 9-0 after the Reds leave 10 runners in scoring position and the starting pitcher gives up 5 in the first inning...WHODEY !!! semiotter
Well im like BILLY, hoping for the best and still thinking they can still do it. If they can do anything today against CC and get a win and sweep in MIL. thats got to help for the start of the second half.
ArmyBengal
Well, I'm still hoping for the best as well... That being said, Chicago, St. Louis, and (regardless of current series) Milwaukee are all more consistent. That and the fact all three teams have better pitching and have an ability to do something the Reds usually can't, PUT RUNS ON THE BOARD... I would love nothing more than to see them make a run at it after the classic, but I think the odds are greatly against it. WHODEY !!! kevinc1129
I would love to see them pull off a sweep today, but as Army said, they are due for one of those games, especially facing Sabathia for the first time. If they can do it though, it would be huge heading into the break with four straight road wins under their belt.
