BengalszoneBilly
This video I'm about to post represents my most agonizing moment as a Bengals fan. Billups HAD the Superbowl winning interception in his hands and dropped it! For those here too young to remember, here it is for you to see... DC_Bengals_Fan
C'mon, I'm trying to repress that. I remember being 11 years old at the time and my old man screaming "YOU DON'T USE A PREVENT DEFENSE AGAINST JOE MONTANA!!!" at the TV. It's time to rid ourselves of past afflictions, time to make a new beginning from what we had, to what we can have again. Let it begin now! Kind of like the Duke/Kentucky game. I swear, if the Reds had lost in '90 that would have been a really crappy 4-year stretch.

ShulaSteakhouse
Hard to watch those 89 highlights...good times...I was a strapping young man just out of high school (18!) playing college ball, and am now 38 $@@*! years old. Came home to watch the playoffs here in Cincy, and the SB, and there was a big party every week (followed by the fun of the '90 Reds World Series). WTF happened to this city????And oh yeah, no one could beat my Rams on Tecmo Bowl with the Everett/Flipper/Ellard combo.
BengalPimp
And oh yeah, no one could beat my Rams on Tecmo Bowl with the Everett/Flipper/Ellard combo. Are you kidding me? If i played you with Chicago and that defense, I'd intercept every pass you threw. Mike Singletary KILLED in that game. Super Fast.

It's probably still fun to be Kevin Walker, a Bengals LB who ended the career of who could have been the best RB of all time. Sorry if I sound bloodthirsty, but I am a Bengals fan. richmond_mat
Great post billy. I remember the day very well. I didn't see much of the game as I was pasting the parking lots with flyers to make some dough. But we managed to get into a bar by fountain square at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Boy was it a crazy seen as the game ended. The square was packed with screaming fans. Seeing how we couldn't get out of town for a bit we headed down to Ogdens and sent our good buddy home with a woman of a certain size he wouldn't have touched without the euphoria in the air. (although she might have said the same about him) great times.

HAPPYJAQ
I'm finding more on YouTube than I thought I would. There's some history here...This really made me think about how much the Franchise has regressed under Mike. The other thing that it made me think about is how strong the Bengals used to draft. Almost every player on the Bengals in both Super Bowl years was drafted by the Bengals, and this was during the old "Plan B Free Agency" days, too. Mikey and Dave Shula set the organization back 15 years.
UofLnMU
If memory serves me, it was the first time I had ever heard the phrase prevent defense. It was also the first time I heard a lot of colorful words.
