cincy9275
i like what marvin did, i think it was the right thing to do. play here or stay home. when some one acts like a immature child that's how they should be treated. as for the bengals doing nothing to improve this offseason. i disagree with that getting zimmer here is a huge addition. then as for losing smith and willams, what have we won with them? it's not like we are losing probowlers here. willams never really did nothing great and justin was brought here to get the qb it didn't happen. odom might not be better than smith now, at least he is young more athletic and comes from a good coached team. the ndukwe, who i bashed endlessly when we drafted him yes i have ate my fare share of crow for it. he has played better than any safety i have seen here in quite some time, what him and white did in the 2nd browns game hasn't been seen here in years. Simple approach, and very effective
Walrus
It's all about $?From ESPN:"I can't force them to trade me. … I'm just trying to let them know I'm not happy," Johnson told ESPN's Stuart Scott on Monday. "We're fooling ourselves not doing things we need to do to compete with the Indy's, the Jacksonville's, Dallas. How do you let Shaun Rogers get away? That helps your run defense. Our defense gives us a chance to win. I'm frustrated. I'm feeling like our fans felt 10 or 11 years before I got here and now we're going backward … not forward. We finished 11-5, 8-8, 7-9 … what are we gonna be this season coming up?"I saw that quote on ESPN this morning. Unfortunately, that is how alot of fans feel and this quote may be the most sensible thing Chad has said since...well, ever.Oh, I forgot that Chad's tirades began when we failed to sign Shaun Rogers. That explains everything....oh wait a minute...Nope, he's been a d*****bag since about game 2 or 3 of last season -- right when he got stuck in his non-scoring slump. Which is the real reason the guy's panties are in a twist. Chad's pissed at himself for his own performance but simultaneously he's too stuck on himself to admit it. Poor guy's brain melted months ago.

Ickey44
… what are we gonna be this season coming up?"Well, Chad, you can bitch about it or help try to fix it. Which is more productive?
Passepartout
Marvin seems to be a good coach and a good person! As I hate that for him!
Jonboat
this is interesting http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=6706 especially the comment by Lewis saying they've been dealing with this s**t inhouse for a year now that gives IMV proof to HOF theory of Chad tanking it last year !! For someone who craves the spotlight he's killing his image & fanbase at least i know I heard enough to not wear my 85 jersey. I want the Bengals to stand their ground quit taking his shots @ them give alittle back
