Thoughts on Eugene Wilson?

Word has it the Pats are looking to unload him for whatever reason. Seeing as how we are EXTREMELY unproven at safety, why not make a run at him? I know he has speed and covering talent, and he's certainly better than anything we have right now, at least IMO.

He's a FA I believe. I didn't know he was still unsigned, thought he'd have gone quickly, along with Madieu and the Gerbil. Would be a very good pick up, IMO.

I would've really like us to get Gibril Wilson but he's gone to the Raiders, does anyone know if Dwight Smith from the Vikings has signed with anyone yet. I think he would be my 2nd choice.

We have 8 safeties on the roster already.

Busing, Hebert, Jackson, Jones, Kilmer, Ndukwe, Turnbull and White. Pretty sure we should be trying to find a few LB'ers or DT's before we get our panties in a twist over safeties.
