duus Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Anyway, this is the worst weekend for Bengals fans. We must beat the Browns. But to help the Steelers? Dude.... no matter. I think I am more interested in the Chargers continuing their winning ways so that the best the Steelers can be is the number 3 seed. If that's the case, then they will pretty much either miss the playoffs entirely or host the Jags again. Those same Jags that beat 'em up on Sunday AND have just been completely shut-out of the Pro Bowl ... while the same team that they smacked around at home gets their starting RB and QB, among others. You wanna bet a certain Jaguar runningback and quarterback aren't going to be using the 'no respect' card to a high degree? This just gets more fun all the time. Quote
Burbank Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 It's worth mentioning here that I was at the 49ers game Saturday... the closest thing to a fight was between a Bengals and Steelers fan. Hilarious.Although I have to say the Steelers fan loses, having paid money for that game. Us Bengals and Niners fans are sad enough as it is. Quote
Riagogogoindanati Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 My feeling is to, for the first time in my life, root like crazy for the Bengals to drop the game to the Browns. Nothing would be more heart-warming this Christmas season than to see the Steelers go into that last week having to beat the Ravens in a do-or-die game. Funny. Way too funny. Then, after a tough, physical game, even if they pull it out, they have to jump right into another game against the Jags. Lovin' it.Go Browns! (I can't believe I just typed that ... but we are talking about Pittsburgh no less)LOL, I thought someone might say that. What has the world come to??? I'm rooting for the Bungles, you're rooting for the Stains... the world has gone mad I tell you. I know....WTF??!!??I'm looking thru my provider book right now looking for a good Psychologist. I'm beginning to have a few "issues." Quote

I'm beginning to have a few "issues." I always keep a bottle of mouthwash nearby when I'm rooting for a hated rival... you never know when you're going to say something that requires it... something like "GO BENGALS!!!" ... I just threw up in my mouth a little bit when I typed that... hence the mouthwash. Quote

OMG! That is hilarious! What is even funnier.............after my mishap at the Heinz Field opener (you know, when they slashed my tires) I took my parents up to Cleveland for the Bengals/Browns game. I bought all this gear...jacket, shirt, hat. My dad and I made my mom wear it. All in hopes to show we had a "Brown's Fan" with us to avoid any tire slashing. We got out...unscathed. Quote

OMG! That is hilarious! What is even funnier.............after my mishap at the Heinz Field opener (you know, when they slashed my tires) Now why would anyone slash a Bengals fan's tires? That's like kicking the walker out from under an old lady, then running it over with a truck. People should just leave us Bungals' fans alone, we should have a free sympathy pass at visiting stadiums. Quote
cincy9275 Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 i am a bengals fan regardless, but for what its worth the bengals will lose sunday. you got a team fighting for a playoff spot and are hungry to get there, versus a team here just for a paycheck period. it's a no brainer browns win 34-10. we are all aware the bengals can't stop anyone, can't score td's and can't coach or playcall worth a s**t. if the bengals do win it will because the browns choked. simple as that. Riagogogoindanati Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 And when it came down to it today..............I was all Bengals. I can't believe I thought for one minute about rooting against my team. I even made my dog Rudi wear his "F$%@ the Dawg Pound" necklace I made for him. Quote
