GregCook
How will it end in 2007? The next month is brutal with Balt, Ariz, Titans and Steelers. Only Arizona is as bad as the Bengals. Call it 1-3 with a home win against Arizona. The season ends with Rams, 49ers, Browns and Dolphins. Call it 2-2 with wins against Rams and our one away win at Miami.I don't see Chris Henry and Chris Perry affecting this too much either, they've been out of football too long and will need the next month to get rid of the rust. Just means we score more points in the losses. Will Brooks return? Will it matter now? I don't think so. Of course I'm assuming Chad plays all these games. If he misses the next couple games, I see the next month as 0-4.My call is 5-11 as the most likely and 4-12 as the worst case. Should be good enough for top 10 in the draft. Mike Brown, please get ready to pay big for your 10 or 11 draft picks.
damiancasey
Miami - it's the only team I can say we'll probably beat with a straight face. We're going to win 3 games this season, gents. This past Sunday I reached a point were I wasn't pissed anymore. I just stared at the TV and waited for the next blunder. Chad getting hurt was like the cherry on top of the sundae.
HairOnFire
Norm Chow once said the first thing he did after being hired by the Titans was find a copy of the schedule and ask an assitant who the soft teams on the schedule were. The assistant answered...."We're the soft team."
membengal
If the Dolphins are 0-15 heading into the season-ender, make no mistake, the Bengals can lose that game. It will be a weirdly pressureized situation, if that comes to pass, and this version of the Bengals does not respond well to pressure in general. walzav29
Yeah. We're horrible, but at least it's over quick like a band-aid. Last year was a dragged out torture. They couldn't find enough ways to screw us. The Monday night embarassment, the missed ext pt on Christmas Eve, and of course the NEw Years Eve missed field goal. We get a top 10 pick in the draft which will hopefully bring an impact player. I threw in the towel after last weeks game.
cincy9275
i threw in the towel at the end of last season. i knew that if marv and f**k head stuck with what they had last year this team was in trouble, now look at them they are a f**king joke. changes were needed at the end of last season and mike and marv just sat on their hands and did nothing. now we the fans are paying for it. damiancasey
Well, you should always play within yourself and stick with your strengths. The Bengals excel at inconsistency, frustration, and ineptitude. These are their core competencies.I, for one, am glad they've decided to finally stick with what they're good at - it's actually the best leadership decision we've seen in a long time! The stars are finally back in allignment.Who freakin Dey!!Who wants to go play some cornhole!!

The stars are finally back in allignment.Who freakin Dey!!Who wants to go play some cornhole!!For various reasons, and money was not the consideration, I gave up my season tickets this year. I thought I would really miss the live action and the fellowship from the great fans around me, but the way these clowns are playing I'm happy I did. I would drive over 100 miles each way to watch the Bengals play; the drive home after a loss was a long, long trip. Loyalty runs both ways, and the organization certainly doesn't seem to understand loyalty to the fans. If so, they would can the D coordinator now...he can't motivate these guys for whatever reason. I believe the talent is there on defense, but as we see, there is no heart, especially in the secondary. Joseph was doing pretty good until his arrest, and he has been sorry ever since. He looks lost out there. Another #1 gone down the toliet. It's been mentioned on this forum many times about the coaches not being able to make adjustments at half time. Why? All the other teams seems to do a pretty good job of it, especially when they play the Bengals.

I can't understand why he isn't ashamed to the point that he would lock himself in his basement and refuse to come out. I think we obviously don't understand at all what the hell motivates him!! walzav29
Do you realize how bad this defense is? They gave up almost 500 yards to Buffalo. Buffalo! All game long it was they haven't done this and they haven't done that. Then they did it. The defense needs to be blown away. 6-10 at best and I just hope the Bengals beat Pitt.
