GreenbergMan
We should have picked Isaac Hilton out of Hampton
middy19
Third String or Practice Squad material?
HoosierCat
http://www.draftcrazy.com/prospect/qb/case...seybramlet.htmlIt seemed likely they'd take a QB to groom for the No. 2 slot. Kitna's new deal still pays him something like $3 million in 2005, plus a $1 million roster bonus in March 05, so as long as Palmer is OK, he'll probably be gone. BengalszoneBilly
Another wasted pick. We coulda picked him up undrafted.
chrishcovga
I agree with you Billy... again.. Bit of a reach here, with some proven talent still out there..1. DeMarco McNeil DT, Auburn.2. Isaac Hilton DE, Hampton.3. Scott Wells C, Tennessee.. Dont' know why we didn't grab a better DE than Geathers..? I don't think he was ready to come out.. Unproven Junior in the 4th round..? I'll wait till '05 to grade him.
GreenbergMan
Another wasted pick. We coulda picked him up undrafted. Billy what do you think of Robert Geathers? IMHO he was a real wasted pick. We could have picked Isaac Hilton or Dave Ball instead of him. That is like the linebackers we picked, i just dont have a clue why we drafted them

EdwardG
Well, we only have two QB's on the roster, and Bramlet was as good as anyone else available.

At least the biggest weakness of the whole Bengals team (the D-line) is being addressed. We passed on too many impact players. I'll never watch another draft day on TV because I can't make heads or tails of what the hell ANYONE is thinking!
chrishcovga
Well, we only have two QB's on the roster, and Bramlet was as good as anyone else available. Not so sure about that... Casey Clausen, perfect for the 3rd qb role. Just missed Cody Pickett by one pick.. - Damn 49ers... Jared Lorenzen - " Hey at least Mikey wouldn't have to pay for a plain ticket "... Not sure.. but I think Rod Rutherford was available too.
EdwardG
Uncle Jumpy will teach Robert the forklift maneuver and we will have a star pass rusher
EdwardG
I don't see much difference between Clausen and Bramlet. Both are big QB's with decent arm strength and accuracy. Perhaps Clausen would be a bit more ready to play, but we certainly aren't drafting a QB to do anything but ride the pine and learn the system.Lorenzen might have been the pick if he weren't a disgusting fatbody. JPW
I thought that Tony Pape might have been a good Pick with our 7th.For more depth at OL.Then get a undrafted QB.

Indycat
Casey Bramlet could be one of the luckiest men in the draft. He could develop into a solid career backup to Carson Palmer and pick up a few super bowl rings in the process.
