Kchrpm is right. Everyone should listen up now. The coach you question was also questioned when he picked Ray Lewis. Almost everyone thought that the Ravens were insane for picking him that early. Now the same happens in Cincinnati when he choses his picks.

Perry: Great pick at 26. We recieved another 4th round pick plus they got the running back that they wanted in the first place. Two is better than one. They will try to fit Perry in with Rudi just like they played Dillon and Rudi but this year neither back will be mad that they have to split runs. Both are good up the middle runners, which will eventually free up our pass and help Carson. Plus Perry is the best back compared to everyone else because he can catch out of the backfield.

Ratliff: Don't trust all the Draft guys and the mocks. I will definitely put my faith in some great Defensive minds like Marvin and Frazier. All the talent that the SEC had and he played against all of them. Led in INT's, playmaker, and great at reading plays.

Williams: Better than most would think. Underated because he didn't get all the hype that a lot of schools recieved. Read anything on this guy and it will tell you that he is only going to get better as he matures verse Jones. Hard hitting Safties that can cover as well is what Marvin likes. Plus he is a great fit for the team.

Miller: Mel Kiper said that in his opinion, "this kid might be the 3rd best linebacker in the draft". Once again he fits in with Marvins plans. Very smart, great at reading plays, dependable, and always gives 110% while he's out there.

Johnson: One of the fastest linebackers in the draft. A little undersized but so was Ray Lewis and look what he has done.

Marvin said the best available players. Well maybe not in everyones minds but the best for his team. By the way all these draftees are very smart. Most of them played on the other side of the ball at different positions and converted. Makes them that much better to react to offensive plays don't you think.

In Marvin we trust.

perry has great hands he can come in for screen plays or on 3rd down when teams bring the blitz he can dish it to perry so he can be good at that he wont be our starter but hes someone who will play alot i think. he had the best hands as a running back. but i didnt want a running back but we got him so im happy with what we got and i like the florida cb he seems pretty good we have many picks and i feel we did the right things. and i welcome everyone to the team nice job.

I think he (Perry) wasnt the best at any particular thing, but I think he's really polished, and above average at everything.....Threw me for a loop too, but welcome aboard Chris, Keiwan, Madieu and everyone else...

I think these guys can all be starters....especially Stacy Andrews and Matthais Askew....good second day picks

I know chris doesnt like Williams over Jones...but check this out

“(Critics) don’t know the flexibility of the players we have,” Lewis said. “Madieu Williams was in the box for Maryland. In Maryland’s defense, he was the drop down safety, the guy making the tackles. Until he went to the Senior Bowl. He evolved into that free safety mode, a corner type.”

I heard that Sean Jones was a little stiff in the hips as well...

Oh, I did know about Sean Jones' stiff hips.. I knew that from the combine..

But what I saw on film , between the 2 , was a guy like Williams that you have to put a leash on sometimes because he plays like a " mad-dog " which is his nick name. .

He plays intense, loves to hit, but he plays harder when he should be playing smarter. .That's why he's a 3rd rounder to me.

I also thought Sean Jones was a 2-3 rounder.. They were close, but Sean Jones was disciplined player. he controlled the deep hashes. He was never beat deep, and he always delivered a "whop" in run support. - I thought Jones could develop into a David Fulcher... and M.Williams into more like Robert Griffin ( FS, from the mid 80's Bengals. )
