BengalChamps
Did you guys see the tape of the Squeelers going after the knee of Campbell, QB for the Redskins? Absolutely disgusting. Reminds me of the Denver OLine. Im waiting for someone to start calling for revenge on Toothlisberger.

I live in Washington D.C. and the Redskins fans are not even crying about that hit, the guy got fined last move on. Hitting Jason Campbell in the knee serves no purpose for the Steelers, I'm all about hating on the Steelers but we need to stop whining about that hit two years ago. I'm sure Mike Tomlin and the defensive coaches are not telling them to take people knees out, they are trying to hustle and when you hustle things happen. Players interviewed said he got fined, time to move on - but I didn't hear anyone interviewed say he *didn't* deserve to be fined.Bottom line is, players need to learn the instinct not to grab low while they're falling - and they damn well better not dive. And if the league needs to up the penalty to get the message home, then so be it.With two, I'll call it coincidence. There better not be a third. James_Brooks21
Bengals fans must be the only people that give a crap about this. That's what I'm trying to express to everybody, just what you said the Bengal fans are the only one that give a crap about that hit on Jason Campbell. The thing is if somebody on the Bengals knocks out a quarterback this year do you really want to hear that the Bengals are dirty, and that they are taught to take the quarterback out of the game ala Trent Green. If someone said that you guys would be like that BS that hit is old and it was just part of the game where two guys were trying to make a play and someone got hurt. DC_Bengals_Fan
That's what I'm trying to express to everybody, just what you said the Bengal fans are the only one that give a crap about that hit on Jason Campbell. Then, like I said, you apparently didn't watch the Redskins preseason game where they interviewed 2 or 3 players about the Campbell hit a week after it happened. So I'd say Redskins fans care, but not overreacting. The thing is if somebody on the Bengals knocks out a quarterback this year do you really want to hear that the Bengals are dirty, and that they are taught to take the quarterback out of the game ala Trent Green. If someone said that you guys would be like that BS that hit is old and it was just part of the game where two guys were trying to make a play and someone got hurt.Difference: hitting a QB low in the pocket is against the rules. Hitting a QB who's running headfirst isn't. As you should remember, the Steelers were fined, while Geathers wasn't - the league correctly determined that he couldn't change the laws of physics to allow him to stop in time to avoid a QB who slides too late. But like I said, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. At some point, too many coincidences aren't a coincidence any more, kind of like Denver's O-line, which everybody knows is dirty as hell.
