HoosierCat Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Hey! A stop! And a Miller sighting! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 Okay defense! 3 and out! Let's see how many times you can do that tonight. Quote
Spor_tees Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 TJ and CArson just are not on the same page tonight Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Oh, great, they just said Graham was hurt...hip pointer. STOP WITH THE INJURIES!!!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 Notice that Atlanta doesn't feel the need to try and run the ball whatsoever? Quote
Spor_tees Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Notice that Atlanta doesn't feel the need to try and run the ball whatsoever?Cause they know they can....and need more work in the passing game. They want to get Harrington some confidence to start the season Quote

Spor_tees Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Time out? Huh?Yeah and if this game goes into overtime and they win the coin toss, they are going to deffer possession and chose which endzone to defend instead Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 Time out? Huh?Yeah...what was that about? The coaching staff practicing calling TO's for the regular season? Quote
Kazkal Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Well it hasn't been pretty but overall I'm feeling fine so far...Justin Smith has been looking like a stud chad n carson lighting it up the only thing really had me pulling hair out is O'neal,Kooistra and all the yellow flags. Quote
Kazkal Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Notice that Atlanta doesn't feel the need to try and run the ball whatsoever?Because Dunn was 6 for 8? Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 the only thing really had me pulling hair out is O'neal,Kooistra and all the yellow flags. You haven't lost a single hair about pass coverage? You must use superglue for mousse. Quote
mgilgris Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 what is that status on teh injuries? I apologize i have been watching online until now. I doubt we get an update with all the vick BS Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 My halftime thoughts:-- Offense looked...marginal. They got a couple of TDs which I wanted to see but they had to scrape and claw for them. Still, I feel better about the O now versus before the game.-- Defense looked...terrible. Good plays here and there but you simply can't let Joey Freaking Harrington eat you up like that.-- STs...short kicks, lousy coverage, Graham hurt...great, just great...not. Quote
skyline Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 The d-line is actually looking fairly decent. It's the rest of the defense that needs to step it up a little.Still, a far more encouraging outing than the first two games, wouldn't you say? Quote

BengalChamps Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Any halftime thoughts on Rudi? He looks slow tonight. Maybe the line makes him look slow when they dont block. Quote
Spor_tees Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Any halftime thoughts on Rudi? He looks slow tonight. Maybe the line makes him look slow when they dont block. Rudi has looked good when he has holes...he had a 33 yarder where he busted through the line...It's just that Koistra and Whitworth haven't played very well, especially Koistra who is getting pushed around by rookie Jamaal Anderson. This despite the write-ups on how he has put on muscle and should be a lot stronger Quote

The team I see out there tonight is a .500 team. However, the team out there tonight isn't the team we will HOPEFULLY see...that team has Willie, Levi, Geathers...and after 8 games Henry. Quote
mgilgris Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 I have been watching the falcons highlights from tonight so far and Ndukme (#41) seems to be playing fast but out of position or not breaking down for the tackle Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 Cool. 1st teams starting the 2nd half. They need the work. Quote
Spor_tees Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 I have been watching the falcons highlights from tonight so far and Ndukme (#41) seems to be playing fast but out of position or not breaking down for the tackleHonestly I am starting to wonder at this point if its the fact the players are out of position, or if the scheme is just so piss poor. I mean a lot of times the scheme has DB's give such a large cushion that is makes the players seem out of position when they really aren't. Kevin Coyle must be ready to slit his wrists at this point, because Bresh's defensive scheme is making him look like he isn't coaching up the DB's at all! Quote
