DesperateDerelict Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 We're as likely to see a half-time scrum between PETA & Falcon fans as to hear some decent discussion of the Bengals team. I predict:1) Vick's name mentioned more than Carson, CJ, and Rudi combined.2) Lots of interesting fan signs.3) tearful interview with Arthur Blank4) A fired-up Falcons "D" and non-existant Atlanta Offense.5) Instead of Marvin 'miked-up', it'll be Vick's attorney.I wish Marvin would call Tony Dungy up in Indy, and arrange to have THURSDAY's game the true dress rehearsal. HoosierCat Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Yeah, I'd say the over/under on mentions of Vick's name is about 10,000.If the Bengals D can't stop Joey Harrington, I have to think we're in deep trouble. But I expect they will. The offense moved the ball pretty effectively against the Falcons last season (at least in the 1st half) so hopefully the first team finally gets into the end zone. Quote
BengalByTheBay Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 There has gotta be at least one comment like: "The Falcons are now experiencing troubles like the Bengals are used to having." Proving that yesterday's news remains clearly fresh enough for general consumption today and into the foreseeable future.I wonder if they play "who let the dogs out." Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 We're as likely to see a half-time scrum between PETA & Falcon fansThere is no love of what Micheal Vick did to those dogs from Falcon Fans. In fact they abhor it every bit as much as we do, and said as much on their Falcons message board. Quote

Vick name will be called more then any player on that field.2. Signs with smart comments will be banned3. Arthur Blank will cry with joy that he does not have to pay Vick all that money that he's not worth.4. Falcons will be fired up period to show on national t.v. that they can do it without Vick.5. I also predict Ahmad Brooks will get at least one tackle against the first team offense of the Falcons.I'm begging Marvin to not play Levi or Willie. Quote
