combatbengal
Palmer is one of the best QB's ever! If he goes down we're in trouble. I wasn't a Kitna fan but I'd rather have him then Doug Johnson. No idea why we let Anthony Wright get away. In my opinion, we should of kept him and used that draft pick for Def. Now we have no back up that can give us a chance to win.K. Irons going down is a blow but we have enough dept at RB to make up for that. Our Running game isn't that bad at all.Def. Last year that had issues with tackling and it appears that we have the same issues this year.We have three more games to improve and then it's for real. WR's, we can not lose Johnson or TJ to injury. C. Henry looks awesome but we don't have him for the 1st half of the season. The back up WR's weren't catching to many passes at the Lions.ST had good and bad points. Shayne was on fire but then missed the game winnng kick. Can't have anymore block punts.I'm going to stick with my 10-6 prediction.
BengalszoneBilly
I wasn't a Kitna fan but I'd rather have him then Doug Johnson. The list of QB's I'd rather have than Dougie is too lengthy to post here.
711chad
our schedule isnt that tough so ima have to go with 11-5...
bengalboomer7
The only thing I disagree with is that Irons is not a blow because our depth @ RB. Our depth is horrible, we now have two guys that won't be on our opening day roster and I don't much look forward to the sight of Kenny Watson if Rudi goes down
Rob
If Rudi goes down, will Jeremi be there to carry some of the load ala a Mike Alstott....he looked to be serviceable in the past to me, but where in hadies is he? What's his story...anyone got a training camp update or anything?
ShulaSteakhouse
This team isn't good enough (unlike say, the Eagles when McNabb went down in a weaker division/conference) to overcome losing Palmer. Unless the defense suddenly becomes a consistent top 5 unit like the Ravens or Steelers, the Bengals' are built around Palmer and have to rely on him being healthy with these back-up Qb's. I actually wouldn't be suprised if Rowe is better by the start of the season than Johnson, who frankly is awful and horribly inconsistent. doogles
I'm going to stick with my 10-6 prediction.Off-topic: Is that your bike? Were you at Home Depot in Mason (Fields Ertel) in the last couple of day? I feel like I saw that exact same bike in the parking lot; from afar I thought it was a custom "Bengals Stripe" paint job.-jd
ArmyBengal
Speaking of our depth at QB if Palmer goes down, did anyone see where Casey Bramlett was released by the Redskins ?? Not saying he is the answer, but just making note... Did he sign with anyone else ?? I guess Carson's little bro is safe for the time being...WHODEY !!! Green 66
From watching him in camp i also think Rowe might be the better choice, than Johnson. Johnson seemed to be wild with his passes, though so did Palmer at times soo it may have just been a camp thing. But Rowe looked pretty serious when he was taking snapsMike GreenWaynesville Ohio
