walzav29 Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 I'm wondering how he has looked. I really haven't heard much. I'm expecting alot out of him. Quote
BlainThePain Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 - Topps 2007 NFL Rookie Photo Shoot with Kenny Irons - Highlight film Quote
skyline Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 Wow...that second video. Cheesiest highlight music...ever. Quote
Bengals44 Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 That highlight music is cheesy, but I'll take it any day of the week over the normal rap-infested, had sex w/ your mother, Let me tell you how extra tough and cool I am because a have a gun vidoes we normally see... Quote
kingwilly Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 from Hobson:"Irons ripped off 65 yards on his first 10 carries and keep that 24-yarder in mind." - that sounds very encouraging. Hey Chris Perry, how's your foot/ankle/leg/career?http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=6169Not sure I like the fumble as described, but it is a mock-game, intra-squad scrimmage. Quote
icehole3 Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 saw the Irons run, looked like James Brooks flying up the middle. He doesnt studder step like Chris Perry he's a slasher with great speed. Quote
membengal Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 Out of everyone at the scrimmage, Irons was the one as you watched it from the stands that elicted the "oooooooooos" with his quickness and decisiveness. He will absolutely impact this team in 2007. Mark it. He is what was missing from the offense last year with Perry's injuries. He will be the change of pace that the team needs. It's easy to see when he's on the field. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 Hey Chris Perry, how's your foot/ankle/leg/career?Getting better/getting better/getting better/it's OVER! I just can't compete with those damn SEC RB's! Quote
711chad Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 rudi and irons thats one good tandum Quote
walshfan Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Irons is shifty ..like one poster said he doesnt studder step... He has more power than given credit for in his draft analysis imo..He runs straight up a bit which Jim Anderson will correct or allready has.He needs to transfer the ball on certain runs but Im sure Anderson has worked with him on that as well..Jim Andeerson might be one of the greatest running back coaches of all time...
