High expectations... Can't wait for the season!

This is going to be one memorable season, I could scream right now in my little office "WHO DEY MUTHERf**kERS!!" How many primetime games do we have this season? Too damn many! It's going to be great. With our team healthy, this is going to be an unbelievable year, I just know this... The stage is set, the expectations are high, and I can hardly wait. I'm telling you guys, this is going to be our year. Carson and the boys will lead us deep into the playoffs if the D can hold the big teams (Indy, NE, San Diego, Denver) from overpowering us. 44 days until the season starts ladies, ARE YOU READY?

I think there is so much being left unsaid about all of the distractions of last year, Palmer's knee, the high expectations, and the brutal schedule for a young team that wasn't used to success. The only question for me is are they ready to compete with the Pats and Colts. I still like the Bengals in the cold PBS against the Colts with Irons and Rudi putting up 200. Perry can bring them some water.

I guess that's what we get for drafting a Michigan player.

So I suppose you think Leon Hall was a bad pick too?

Neither Chris Perry nor Leon Hall are Michigan Wolverines, they are CINCINNATI BENGALS!

There was passed tense in my statement meaning they Wolverine's at one point.

I honestly liked when we picked Perry; on the contrary I didn't like the Leon Hall pick. I hope I am wrong but I think he is overrated.

\if i was a bengal fan i wouldnt have very many high expectations.... still no defense to speak of. alot of legal troubles... another below average year is on the horizon for the bengals.

Oh yeah. I agree. The Bengals defense does stink. Only twice last year were they able to dominate against weak, pathetic offenses and hold them to under 10 points! The first one was Cleveland, (which is no big shocker there) and I'm trying to remember the other...oh yeah, it was on November 30th of last year against your Ravens!

Oh...and as far as legal problems, it isn't as though the Ravens haven't had their own. Jamal Lewis was busted and sent to "pound-you-in-the-a$$" prison for slingin' dope, and I'm pretty certain Ray Lewis was charged with murder (sorta makes all the stuff the Bengals have been charged with seem kinda cute) but turned state witness against his friends to save his own sphinxter from the abuse that Jamals surely endured.

More like are they ready to compete with the Steelers & the Ravens. It's all about the divisional games baby! And with our defence I just can't see it this year.

I think we shouldn't worry so much about the defense anymore, hell it's getting better by the year. I'd go out and get yet another killer WR and have the most dominating offense in the league and out score everyone. Indy did that for years. Their defense came alive in week 16 and 17 then the playoffs last year, until then they sucked.

That's what it comes down to, Indy and NE. I feel like we can beat them, but if our defense doesnt show up, then we lose. Simple as that Scotish! I think we're ready to make it deep into the playoffs this year, we've been through so much and learned every step of the way, on-field and off-the-field. Palmer's the type that rarely makes the same mistake twice, if his line can stay healthy this year, he will shread the opposing defenses without a doubt!!!

I don't care what people say, Odell will make an impact on this defense. I pray to god that we get him back this year, he helped us sooooo damn much in '05. Just his attitude alone when on-field helps our defense. Can you imagine the possiblities with Brooks, Hartwell, and O-dawg? OMG, I can.

God I can't wait! 46 days my friends. 46 days ClaytonWilliams until the Ravens get embarrassed.

Earlier this week I finally tracked down a complete 2005 Colts - Bengals shootout and watched it. I was instantly hyped after 7 months of apathy. They broke my heart the last 3 weeks last year and it took that long to recover. But man it was instant intense anticipation after watching it. Even after a loss. Man Ohalete friggin' killed us that year :-(. Every year it seems the defense should be better, yet it's the same thing every year. If we even get a middle of the pack defense, we're going to be pretty hard to beat. But again I say that every year.
