Scottishbengal
Sorry guys, missed this thread due to now only having internet access via work (and even I have to do some work at times!) so I get very little time to surf upon the Net.Little one is doing pretty good, at 12 weeks old tomorrow (wednesday) he is at 8lb 6oz. He is on a special formula feed to boost his bodyweight (like Cartmans weightgain 4000?) and a regime of medicines and vitamins. He is still undergoing weekly tests and blood sampling at the hospital in Inverness but last weeks results showed his haemoglobin levels had gone up (good), his billirubin levels gone done (good) the coagulated billirubin levels gone done (very good) and that his bone marrow is now starting to function (excellent). Overall he is looking a more natural caucasion colour and not so much the offspring of Kim Jong Il. He will stay on his current medication/vitamins/feed for 6 months and then they will ween him off - hopefully his liver would have been kickstarted and will function OK otherwise he could be on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Mrs Scottish No.2 is fine and dandy as are all of the clan. Thanks for asking guys - very much appreciated
