hmmm.... I knew his name from being with Pissburgh but I am surprised that he did virtually nothing there. Looks like a career backup and I think we have enough of those already. I think all of our guys except J. Smith, Geathers, and Peko are backups on the line. ;-) Well, Myers looked good in Denver but is up there in age now.

We don't need another "backup" DT -- we need to find some real talent on the defensive line that push the pocket into the QB's lap.

IMO I'd rather spend my efforts trying to get Matt Toeaina the coaching he needs to get into for the DT rotation.

Nah, he's not old enough. Maybe in another 5 years when he plays 10 snaps a game and needs oxygen during TV timeouts.
