jjakq27
Interesting Enquirer article that reviews the ages of the key players of the team and how this group is at the peak of their abilities. I found the last line very interesting. In spite of all of the finger-pointing, excuse making, etc. after last year, I still think the team lacked maturity and weren't able to take control at the end of the season."On the field, the Bengals want to avoid late fades that ended the past two seasons. Both ended in three-game losing streaks."We were humbled last year," Kelly said of missing the playoffs. "Guys' attitudes have changed.""http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...0335/1078/COL02
DesperateDerelict
I know we have some elder statesmen, (Willie, Sam Adams, Thornton) but I thought we were still one of the youngest teams in the NFL!?! I agree that there's no time like the present, but I don't see 2007 as our last chance - far from it!

However, we don't have wait until 2010 to win the SuperBowl.

HairOnFire
The window isn't closing, but it's fair to say that missed opportunities are starting to pile up on the porch. Or if you prefer, the late season fade is now becoming as familiar and predictable as the dead-cat bounce used to be.
