Tab, Jeremi, James.

I almost voted for Chris Perry, because (IMO) he is a better football player than Tab when on the field.

First off who ever voted Ahmad Brooks over James Brooks is an idiot, please find another team to cheer for like the Browns because you are as dumb as some of their fans who think they are going to make the playoffs this year because of the people they picked up. How you pick a guy who has not started a whole season and got demoted to the bench over a 4 time Pro Bowler is beyond me, hopefully some of you guys were just joking. Also I think you are idiots for voting Tab Perry over Chris Perry, Chris Perry has more then 40 more receptions in the NFL even through all the injuries then Tab (I know he got injured too). When Chris Perry and Tab Perry are healthy Chris Perry is by far the better player, Tab Perry is decent but Chris Perry is clearly talented just has ran into bad luck. I say the only area that Tab is better is kick returner, we saw what Chris did in the Baltimore game when he got his chance. I'm more thrilled seeing Chris Perry line up at flanker then Tab Perry because I know anywhere anytime that when he is health that he is a threat to take it to the house. I'm failing to see why people are so high on Tab Perry, that kick return against Pittsburgh has accomplished more for him then September 11 did for Guiliani's political career.

Who's the best Perry?

Chris Perry

Tab Perry

- Chris has more upside....but Tab will be the better perry when it comes to what he does for this team.

Who's the best Johnson? (not counting Chad or Rudi)

Jeremi Johnson

Landon Johnson

Jjohnson is one of the best at his position of unsung heros,Landon is a serviceable starter if he has studs around him...otherwise he's a A+ backup/special teamer

Who's the best Brooks?

Ahmad Brooks

Greg Brooks

James Brooks

-Is this a joke?

The only way James Brooks is a clear-cut favorite over Ahmad Brooks is if you compare total careers (at least Ahmad can read). Other than that, you can't compare the two yet. Both had less than stellar first years of their career (James had 109 yds rushing, 46 yds receving in 14 games first year; Ahmad had 31 tackles, 1 sack in 11 games). Any intelligent fan would have agreed to disagree, not post some roid-rage rant about people who think a current Bengal is better than a former Bengal should root for another team.

I have been dumbfounded throughout by those of you who cannot see what a great player Chris Perry would be sans injuries. I love Tab, but, if both players are healthy, Chris is the better player.

Chris Perry's unending injuries are seemingly part of his makeup, which reduces his playing ability to that of a semi-healthy ball boy. Chris Perry = Total Bust. Oh...IMHO. <_<

Certainly, you are entitled to your opinion, but when you refer to CP as a total bust, you imply that you know as fact that he will not get healthy and contribute in a big way. Unless you are Karnack the Magnificent, I'm guessing that you do not know that to be fact.
So, how many excuses are permitted before the "bust" title is acceptable? Does the career have to be officially over? In that case Ki-Jana couldn't be recognized as a bust until '03.

Injuries or not... Chris Perry was a first round draft pick who in 3 years has totalled only 22 games, only 740 yards, and only 2 TD's (for the mathmatically impaired, that's only 7 games, less than 250 yards, and less than a single TD per season). I'm tired of hearing about the "potential" of Chris Perry.

Bad luck? Call it what you want... but for all the labelling of Justin Smith as a "bust" because he isn't viewed as worthy of where he was drafted - how could you possibly call Perry anything but a bust? He's been unreliable and now he'll be lucky to be 3rd on the depth chart.

I'm unclear on who referred to Justin as a bust, but it was not me. I certainly did hope for more disruption in the backfield than we got from Justin, but he laces them up every Sunday and gives it what he has. Not a bust, but a little overpaid in '07.

When using the b-word is acceptable is each individuals choice.

For me I will continue to see and hope for the best until he has been cut from our team. A healthy Chris Perry is the missing piece to our offense. If Irons steps up to fill his shoes, the end of the road may well be near for CP. Until that time, I hope to see Perry reach his giant potential. Maybe it will happen and maybe it won't. I won't give up on him until it is done.
