Bengal1971
Now we have Peko and Toeaina at DT. They are in backup mode now. Their reason for dropping in their drafts were because of short arms but I think they are both the kind of tackles Marvin likes. They have the wide base and they stay on their feet. They remind me of Kimo Von Oelhoeffen. I think they could make the type of DE Marvin would want in a 3-4. Hall and Joseph are the cover corners. Jeanty and Henderson fit the 3-4 olb. I am daydreaming. Anybody else thinking like this?
Kazkal
Um I've never heard about them having short arms as a knock ala David Pollack. They Dropped because they were Raw and project picks....We'd still need a NT and meh I wouldn't be excited about Jeanty and Henderson as our starting 3-4 OLB's till they show us a little something in the terms of pass rush...For me to be excited they'd have to look more like Merriman,Ware,Wimbley or even David Pollack seems like he would been a sweet 3-4 LB

Geathers for sure, it would be about as good as when they tried the DT thing with him. I think they both need to be doing more one-on-ones on the outside, not simply trying to tie guys up as the LBs make the plays. Justin's advantage is his motor, not his strength, so playing inside more and getting more double teams would prevent him from chasing plays (although some might consider that a good thing). JoePong
Please stop the stupid talk about a 3-4 defense.

coupdayta
Somehow I doubt we'd pay Jumpy $6million a year to be an undersized 3-4 DE.
