Here's a video of Ndukwe (pronounced N-duke-way, I think) knocking the tar out of Calvin Johnson. Though he may be only special teams, at least he provides depth and hits hard.

Not all that impressive, considering that CJ was completely defenseless and falling towards him without any resistance. A nice instinctive play, just not all that impressive as far as the hit goes.

That's a nice play -- exactly what a safety should do.

The people on YT saying it's the QB's fault is ridiculous - ball hit him in stride over the shoulder...as if the QB had time to wait until he was 75 yards downfield before throwing it.

I hate people who can't back up their arguments and just say things based completely on bias.

The impressive piece is that Ndukwe is running with Calvin Johnson, hits him and breaks up the completion. QB fault? Who cares? If that is Palmer throwing the ball he keeps leading CJ away from the safety and there is nothing the safety can do, but that is not what happened.

Ndu delivered a good hit running stride for stride with CJ. That's pretty good in my book.

Totally agree with your take. He actually got ahead of CJ to deliver the blow. Even if the QB had thrown it out there a bit more, Ndu was in position to make the tackle. Very impressive against the second coming of Terrel Owens. Can you imagine our safeties tandem--- Ndu and Mdu!
