HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Army has hopefully hit the sack. 4th round talk starts here! DT? That's my hope!
Tasher Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Okay, that better! LB or S for me! Aaron Rouse, VT, oh yeah!
Kirkendall Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Army has hopefully hit the sack.Wouldn't that hurt? I'm at the point now where I seriously doubt the Bengals will go defensive line at all. The money tied up to the players and those returning from injury may prevent us from going that way. Then again, who knows. Most of you think I'm an idiot -- with good reason, too!
Spor_tees Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I'm guessing we go long snapper...because the Bengals are only one hit away on Brad St. Louis from being screwed. Honestly I can't help it because of being so frustrated about the Irons pick. I honestly guess the rest of the draft will be high upside low productivity athletes reguardless of position. I guarantee there will be at least 2 non-Division 1-A players taken day 2 (or at least small school).
NJ29 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I'm hoping for a weakside linebacker here. Hopefully Buster Davis falls. Not a lot of D-Lineman that catch my eye. If Tanard Jackson slips that far (insanely unlikely), he would be great for interchangeable safety depth.
HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2007 Author Report Posted April 29, 2007 I'm guessing we go long snapper...because the Bengals are only one hit away on Brad St. Louis from being screwed.Nah, in that case they would have taken Olsen (he's a long snapper) in round 1. Quinn Pitcock. When Quinn the Eskimo gets here, everybody's gonna run to him!
hrod382 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I'm all for a long snapper that isn't a choke hahaActually... Maybe Aaron Rouse is there as Tasher said, that'd be sweet either SS or WLB.Marvin White maybe, I'd really like to see a saftey.

Adding to this offense a dimension that it severely lacks and is preventing it from becoming a championship caliber unit is a really bad idea. I would have much preferred drafting a mediocre LB who would have been a backup on this team.
HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2007 Author Report Posted April 29, 2007 Yeah. WhoDeyForever Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I would also love to have Matt Trannon if Pitcock gets drafted earlier.

ChadJohnson-85 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I'd like to see us get Kareem Brown in the 4th. Sh*t Arizona took Buster Davis!

So that argument holds about as much water as a pair of Cher's panty hose.

HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2007 Author Report Posted April 29, 2007 Seriously, how would a guy like Pitcock help this team?Well, to begin with, 3 of our 4 DTs are 30+. A little youth wouldn't hurt. Quinn is great value on day 2. If the best he is, is the second coming of John Thornton, at least he doesn't chew up $4m+ in cap space. You got a better DT? Fine, pick 'em. I don't care, just gimme a DT.
