Dawg BpG Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 One of two things here.either we are drafting a QB, or this is SMOKESCREEN.I believe it to be the latter.... Quote
Kazkal Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 I could see them wanting trent and then taking JT,AP or CJ,If a coaching staff is going to take a franchise QB they should do it their 1st or 2nd year, but not in the 3rd when your about to be fired if you don't atleast produce a 8-8 or 9-7 record. ChadJohnson-85 Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 If they get Trent and draft CJ + getting J. Lewis this offseason they'll have a pretty solid offense. Quote
Stripes Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 They'd be better off with Carr. They'd be better off with Quinn. Quote
Kazkal Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Quinn would be good but not starting this year, outside of dan marino and Big system Ben what rookies had solid 1st seasons? even peyton manning was like 18 td 23 int.plus they'd probbley be better off sitting him till their out of the playoff race. Quote
Stripes Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 The Browns shouldn't even care about Quinn's immediate impact should they draft him. I think fans think too much about "this season" when it's the few seasons down the road that might hold the most promise. I think the Browns would be very well advised to draft Quinn and sit him behind Frye for most of, if not all of, the 2007 season. They'll suck again, no doubt, but that's a given either way. Quote
Kazkal Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Draft quiinn and let green teach him. I do think RMC cares about winning this season because his milkdude ass is gone otherwise. Quote
jditty47 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 browns should pick up carr. now they have a RB, and a descent OL, i dont see why he wuoldnt be an upgrade. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 Green would be a good stop-gap potentially, if they draft a QB. Just like Kitna here. I don't think it's a smoke screen at all. Quote
Kazkal Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 well they still need a RB lewis signed a 1 year deal and I'd question if he had gas for 2...if they took AP he'd be change of pace they'll need from lewis. Quote
