jditty47
to there defense, their defensive style is built for linebackers and safeties. they get another beast that is young and in his prime also allowing them to keep a first round pick. i actually like this move by them. rbsohio30
this really is a smart thing for both teams to do

Whur CHad At?
Yet i sense all of these bad moves for Redskin people are the ones against big name players.
ChadJohnson-85
If this trade happens they are the most retarded team in the NFL.

Whur CHad At?
how is this trade retarded? THey will have one of the best, if not the best, LB units in the NFL. If he was coming to Cincy for a similar deal, you all would be estatic. It is a good move for both teams. The Redskins wanted to trade the 6th pick anyway. rbsohio30
If this trade happens they are the most retarded team in the NFL.na I have to disagree with you there after all the Cleveland Clows and Pittspuke Squealers are still in the NFL

I'd rather spend the 18th pick on a similar player like Lawrence Timmons and have the contract of said player within the realm of reason. Whur CHad At?
I would rather haven a proven, young, pro bowler than a rook
Stripes
I would rather haven a proven, young, pro bowler than a rook I'd agree in general terms, but would you rather have that proven, young pro bowler at the expense of T.J. Houshmandzadeh in two years, Madieu Williams next year, and lord knows who else?
Whur CHad At?
Madieu is not THAT great and could and can be replaced
ShulaSteakhouse
TDB over-valuing his favorite Bengals' players and preaching about saving $ over proven talent? Can't be!
Stripes
TDB over-valuing his favorite Bengals' players and preaching about saving $ over proven talent? Can't be! Whom did I overvalue? I mentioned two players -- T.J and Madieu. Neither of those two are my "favorite" by any means, and I'd be stupid to build an argument around that were it the case. I asked a legitimate question, and it wasn't answered by yourself or WCA. Instead, WCA speculated about the worth of one of the two, and you busted my balls while missing the point.Bringing in Lance Briggs and his contract would undoubtedly cost the Bengals players already on the roster down the road, and it's typical of you to ignore that truth in favor of whining about present roster issues.I'm not saying Briggs wouldn't be a solid addition to the defense (nor am I saying he would), but simply noting that adding him would cost the Bengals more than just cap space.
