TJJackson
I think worse case scenario, actually, is a RB, OL, or QB in round
HairOnFire
Random thoughts in no particular order.... All charges dropped due to a complete lack of evidence. Story predictably appears after girlfriend dumped...and shortly before player becomes instantly rich. Duke lacrosse players seen nodding their heads in sympathy. Bengals odds of adding a new RB in the 1st or 2nd round is a very remote. No reason for anyone to attempt linking Lynch to the Bengals unless the original poster is intent on being a raging dumbass. Too many Bengal fans are raging dumbasses.
walzav29
That's what I was waiting for Asshair on fire. This is exactly the scenario the Bengals have to avoid. It has to be players with ZERO stories about him except from charities and preachers. That's what I was waiting for Asshair on fire. This is exactly the scenario the Bengals have to avoid. It has to be players with ZERO stories about him except from charities and preachers. That is stupid, they cant handcuff themselves by allowing this character crap to influence thier draft picks. If a player has been questionably accused of something it does not mean he is guilty. If this situation was used on previous drafts many of the current fan favorite players (including #85) would currently be playing for another team. Young men do stupid things; young rich men do more stupid things; young, rich athletes do even more stupid things. I cant say that I have not committed half of the things that Bengal players have been arrested for this past season. A little pot and DUI's do not bother me in the least. If more serious crimes are forthcoming, it may change my mind on the players already drafted, but not on who should be drafted. If a player has been confirmed to have committed a serious offense dont draft him, but dont overlook players who have been falsely accused or been caught toking it up once in thier past. I just dont give a rat's a$%.

HoosierCat
I think worse case scenario, actually, is a RB, OL, or QB in round 1I don't see offense in the first as a real possibility. In the second they could be tempted by a TE, or more likely given who they were talking with in Mobile, a pass-catching RB. That's historically the way they've preferred to go with the offense (versus a pass-catching TE).If they somehow pick up a 3rd rounder before the draft you can pencil offense in for that one, probably an RB. Agreed - reason I wrote what I did was that the priginal poster noted that the pick of the WR in question would be a worst case scenario for the Bengals -- I was saying "no, it'd be even worse than that worse if we picked a RB, OL, or QB"
