NYBengalfan
I hate the Mannings f**k Peyton and Eli. Its about f**kin time Peyton won a conference title. But I hope he chokes in 2 weeks. Everyone is on his jock, "ohhh Peyton is the best QB ever". No f**kin WAY!!!!!!!!!!!I will never consider him a top 5 all time QB until he wins a SB Title. if he wins one, then I will put him in an All time Great category. For 2 weeks I am a bears fan.....and yes I had New England +3. *** damn it!!!!!!!!WHO-DEY Bengals SB XLII CHAMPS
jjakq27
Now I hear that the Pats are complaining about some of the calls in the game yesterday. They are especially upset about the roughing call late in the fourth on the game winning drive. I haven't seen the play but I don't ever want to hear another team bitching about a roughing call because after this season. My comment to Pats fans is...Reche Caldwell. BengalszoneBilly
My comment to Pats fans is...Reche Caldwell.Speaking of him, this article was in the Boston Herald today:Drops and flops for Reche: Caldwell blames self for missed chancesBy Dan VenturaBoston Herald Sports Reporter Monday, January 22, 2007 - Updated: 10:23 AM ESTINDIANAPOLIS - There are plenty of plays that came back to haunt the Patriots [team stats] in last night’s AFC Championship Game loss to the Colts. None was potentially more damaging then the inability to take advantage of a glaring Colts defensive blunder late in the fourth quarter. The Colts defensive backs failed to notice Reche Caldwell standing all by his lonesome on the right sideline. Even after frantically waving his arms for what seemed like an eternity, Caldwell still wasin a position to make a play, but dropped a pass from Tom Brady. The play proved costly as the Patriots settled for a field goal and a 31-28 lead with 7:45 remaining. Caldwell accepted full responsibility for not making the play, one of three dropped passes in an excruciating 38-34 defeat. “The quarterback didn’t see it (right away), then he threw it and I dropped it,” said Caldwell, who finished with four catches for 46 yards. “It was right in my hands. I tried to run before I got the ball, but I took my eyes off the ball when I looked upfield. “I missed some plays out there that could have helped our team. It wasn’t my best performance, but I have to come back and work harder.” Some of those plays came in the first half when the Patriots appeared to have the Colts on the ropes, jumping out to a 21-3 lead when Asante Samuel returned an interception 39 yards for a touchdown. Even though the Colts cut into the lead slightly when Adam Vinatieri booted a 26-yard field goal with :07 left in the half, Caldwell knew there was plenty more football left to be played. “We knew coming in at halftime that it wasn’t over,” said Caldwell, who also dropped a pass while alone in the end zone. “Everyone was saying that it wasn’t over, they have an explosive offense with a lot of playmakers, Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison and the running backs. They made a lot of plays and put them in a position to win the game.” The Colts controlled the game in the second half, scoring 32 points in the final 30 minutes. Caldwell’s missed opportunities became magnified as the game extended into the latter stages. The pained look on Caldwell’s face as he retold his misfortunes was obvious. “We got a pretty good lead, but they came back,” said Caldwell. “Playing a team like that, you can’t give them too many chances. We left a minute and they came back and won the game.”Also, did anyone else notice his eyes? Are they always bugged out like that, or was he trippin' on something?
