Bengals44
Any fool who looks at a schedule and deems it to be tough or easy is just that - a fool! The only thing you can hope for is that there is not three straight road games (which happens at times - as in last year)... The truth is that you may have a slight idea about who may be good and bad, but the NFL has so much parity that judging a schedule is simply not possible... There will be 3 teams on our schedule will feel real good about playing now that will scare the hell out of us when we actually play them and 3 teams we are scared of right now, that will look pretty favorable once we get to those games... When it comes down to it, everyone can beat everyone and we must be ready week in and week out, period!!

If anyone here thinks of seasons past of teams that looked tough...like the Raiders at the beginning of last year, then ended up stinkin' up the league, (sorry kitared, but they did) you see his point here!! :player:
jditty47
well, i feel that any schedule is hard. Look at last year, we shoulda raped the raiders but we lost cuz of dumb mess ups. Our schedule looks hard, but it also depends on how good we are playing, the worse we are playing the harder it is, the better, the easier....otherwise its in our hands. Jungle_Fever
The Bengals beat a 9-0 team last year. The better a team did last year the lower their draft picks this year. I dont think there is a team out there that the Bengals cant beat on any given day. The big name teams should just bring out the best in our guys. What better way to go legit than to spank around the likes of Miami, Denver and Dallas.
HoosierCat
The Browns, Steelers and Ravens all have to play pretty much the same teams, so the sked is mostly a wash where it counts the most: in the division. 14 of the 16 games are against each other or the same opponents; the 2 "wild cards" for each team are:Baltimore: KC, IndyCincy: Denver, TennCleveland: SD, HoustonPitt: Oakland, JaxI don't think we made out too badly there. As always, the key will be the six division games. If we can get 4 or more wins there we have a good shot at the postseason whatever happens.
Tiger Stripes
We should have a BengalsZONE get together for the Monday Night Game. hell yea that would be sweet!
Barbarian
Key Game: CarolinaWhy???Because Bungle Fans get to see how juicy it is to be on the flipside--Chad Johnson gets to light up Artrell Hawkins all night long.Sidenote: The Panthers will slide this next year!!! They took a few steps back by getting rid of their secondary/a few offensive linemen in the offseason.Prediction: No playoffs for the Panthers.Sidenote #2: The Bungles will have just about the same record as they did last year--I see 6 to 8 wins. Here's why:1. Teams are taking the Bungles semi-seriously now since the "turnaround" last year (as opposed as seeing the Bungles as "BYE WEEK #2")2. Schedule got harder (but who knows with the thing called parity)Prediction: 6-10, 7-9, or 8-8 for the Bungles (depending on the draft)

More like a 10-6 or 11-5 season for us!!But, who knows....it's any given Sunday!! Last year there were to many games that we came close, but lost because of stupid mess-up and penalties!! All I know is I can't wait for the season to start!! Oh and yes I said we will beat TAMPON BAY!!! I will be @ that game!!!

It's the line Dan Akroyd always used in response to Jane Curtain on Saturday Night Live in the late '70's. You may be too young to remember. Tampa Bengal
How is a Raider fan going to call the Bengals wins? Worry about your own team, they are in more serious need of help.
chrishcovga
After looking at the schedule, and trying to "guesstimate" which games should give us problems, and which games we could lose as tough close games, I have to think that we'll finish somewhere between 8-8, and 10-6.1.We should draft well.2.Honestly think Carson Palmer is the real deal, may struggle early, but come mid-season he'll be one of the better NFL stories this year. crystal ball #s'. 25 tds-14 ints.3.Running game should be better this year. Rudi= more carries, and whether or not Dillon is back, we should have some backups to make some big plays.4.Defense will be better. - Key point is too improve the Pass rush and size up front, all things that should take place on day 1. 5.Big years from Kevin Hardy and Brian Simmons. For some reason , I really like the idea of Hardy protecting our strong side, and Simmons' stats last year were as good as any linebacker in the league, and his sack numbers should increase.
