Smoov513 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 This kid might be one of the most underrated prospects in the draft. He is out of a small school in Florida, Bethune-Cookman Univ., were he put up insane numbers, 14 int's in '02. Good size, 6-0 1/2 207 lbs, good speed 4.41-40, with our excellent coaching staff I feel as if he could be developed into a future pro bowler. Maybe with the 1st pick in the 2nd round he would be a steal. Quote
jbengals1 Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 he sounds like a steal, but i will look more into him and let ya all know Quote
B24 Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Here is Rashean Mathis' page on ESPN.com.I don't think I'd take him that early. If he's still available in the third round I'd take him though.Has not faced that many top receivers in college. I just wouldn't be able to take a chance that early on someone that hasn't proven himself against some top talent. Quote
jbengals1 Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 i check him out he looks good but needs more teaching to face top receivers, if he's still around in the 3rd/4th round he would be a good pick but not worthy of a first day 1st/2nd pick Quote
