Yeah, he's the goat of the game. But turnovers and penalties cost us this game. We had four TD passes by Carson that were called back on penalties that didn't have anything to do with the play or Carson just flat out sucked on. He'll probably get alot of crap, but he didn't "Lose" us the game, though he did help a great deal.

Let the Ben Wilkerson for long snapper discussions commence.

Holy mutherfu**ing s***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The SNAPPER is NOT the reason this team lost!!!!! No wonder Bengal fans get ridiculed. It's for comments like that!!!!

This year:

No discipline

Lack of focus

Injuries (can't help that)

Marvin needs to ACT like the coach he was when he came here and tighten these guys into focus!!!!

I love Chad....but dude, his act is getting old! PLAY THE GAME AND SHUT UP!!!!!

This was a game that should have been won by 2 TDs......but THIS TEAM HAS NO KILLER INSTINCT!!!!! NONE!!!!!

Merry Christmas all!

I wonder how it must feel to be Brad St. Louis right now. I hope he doesn't have any heavy ropes nearby, or we shouldn't expect to hear from him anymore.

Reality check, he'll be tucked in at home (mansion) later tonight. He'll open his presents (lavish, expensive) tomorrow and rest easy knowing he already is fully vested w/ a NFL pension that pays more than the salary of 99% of the team fans calling for his head.

despite all the mistake that was made in the game all we had to do was kick a extra point. we had the momentum and everything going our way and some f**king jackass that all he does is long snap can't make a play he makes everyday time and time again so yes no matter what any1 says. that f**king jackass did cost us the game!!!!!!!!

nobody else executed tonight, why should we all single out Brad?

1st play of the game, pick off Cutler, hand the ball to the O on the opponent FIVE YARD LINE w/ a First & GOAL, for Chriss sake and we get ZERO points.

Fumble the ball to the opposition TWICE to give them their 14 points...

Need I go on?

We were a Carson Palmer Miracle to get to the opportunity to tie it up. You all knew watching that something was going to happen on the Xtra point.

Just fate for this year.

Come on Miami, please beat the Jets.

Like I said:

The TEAM makes the plays and the coaches make the adjustments, it doesn't come down to blaming the most unappraciated position in football. When was St. Louis' last bad snap???

Here's a trival note for ya:

I used to take practice snaps from the Virginia Tech longsnapper when Shayne was there. We would practice in his spare time in front of the dorm. He was a friend of mine in the Army. That sh** is not easy.

My point is this, if you're gonna blame St. Louis, blame Chad for his dropped passes.

And.....

my last point:

Merry Christmas!

I'm sure the Bengals' longsnapper is that much of a pompous ass. I highly doubt he'll be in a pleasant mood tonight or for many nights to come.

Don't let the announcers suck you in !!!

That was not a bad snap !

It was a bad hold.

The snap was in the box and as long as the ball is in the box then the snapper has done his job.

The box is anything that is directly above the holders front knee to the top of his front shoulder and is within arms length to the right or left of the holders outstretched hands.

The box for a holder is the same as the strike zone is for baseball catcher.

As long as a ball is muffed in the strike zone then it is a passed ball on the catcher and is not a wild pitch by the pitcher.

If the ball is out of the srike zone when it is muffed, then it is ruled a wild pitch on the pitcher.

This same rule applies to a bad snap or bad hold.

The ball clearly was in the box but hit the holder in both hands and fell to the ground.

The holder at no time had to leave his crouching position to attempt to catch the snap, which verifies that the ball was most definitely in the box.

What snap was you watching? It was high and off to the right, but it also looked like it could be handled to but that didnt lose the game for the BENGALS...They killed there selfs with missed passes by CARSON to wide open players and penalty that killed us tonight..... :o

Hes a choker. Dont forget his snap in last years playoffs. I made a post in the offseason in a thread about roster spots that we shouldnt keep st louis because he had already proven that hes a choker (i said it more sarcastically obviously), unfortunate. We are keeping a roster spot for a guy who is completely useless at everything besides long snapping, and is a choker at the one thing hes on the roster for.

That said it wasnt ALL his fault. Really the entire offense choked. The only offensive skill player worth a damn that I can think of who didnt is TJ. Carson was missing passes all game, we could have had a 3 td lead if he were more accurite today. The INT in the end zone to start the game was pathetic. That said, his final drive was a thing of beauty and it saved me from completely bashing him. Hes still starting to get a reputation for choking though, hes had chances in a few games this year (Bucs, ravens, chargers) to change the outcome with end of the game drives and has failed each time. One other thing, Carson is up to 15 fumbles on the season, compared to 7 total in 04 and 05 combined, i dont know if hes trying to salute jon kitna in some way or what, but it needs to stop. Carsons pocket awareness this year has been horrible.

Dont even want to get started on chad, show up for a big game once and a while before you talk anymore (and i love most of his antics). Him and reggie kelly moving cost us a huge td to Henry (carson deserves some blame for rushing the snap when everyone hadnt set yet), who I also think had a drop or 2, though I might be wrong, he didnt play bad, and had a couple of big time catches, and obviously should have had a td.

Rudi obviously had that fumble when he went wide eyed on a gaping hole, and another f**k up that no ones really mentioning, on our first drive, the one that started at their 5, Rudi dropped what looked to be a TD on I think first down. The pass appeared to be a bit wide and he may not of scored, but he at least would have made it to the one, and he got his hands on it.

Nothing against the defense, they played good enough to win, outside of the 99 yard drive they played great. You cant really knock them for giving up 24 points when the offense kept giving the ball away in bad positions.

St louis gets paid to do one thing. He is a professional. GET IT DONE!

Its not his first bad snap this year. Time to replace him.

BTW, it was not the holder's fault. Even if he catches the ball, he is SO off balance that there is no way to get out of the kickers way.

Exactly, and even if Larson manages to get it down, hes thrown off Graham's timing, and Shane has shown this year that hes no longer money on xps, even with perfect timing.
