walzav29
I think everyone has a drop now and then, but when you add in Henry's character issues and the timing of his TD drops. It seems fishy. Considering that a lot of his drops are touchdowns. This kind of thing happens more than you think. I watched an HBO inside sports about gambling and football and they talked about Ronnie Harmon having no fumbles in his college career, but had 5 in his bowl game. In all of the games Henry has these drops they don't cover the spread, and in that Ravens game he didn't even attempt to jump. He get's in trouble with the wrong guys and to get out of it he has a few drops here and there, and the Bengals don't cover. The timing of his drops, seem more than just choking. I think he is tanking games on purpose.
membengal
This thread is more retarded than the Bengals' gameplan last night. And that's saying something...

jjakq27
Dave Lapham thinks he got soft after getting lit up earlier in the season.
walzav29
If you think there are never guys that get caught up in gambling in professional sports your crazy. You heard of Pete Rose haven't ya! I just find it funny that in all of the games that he drops touchdowns they don't cover the spread. I'm talking about like 5 games. MacD BengalFan
So lets have the NFL and Bengals waist time and money only to discover that he has not lived up to the hype of last season. Yea, that a good idea.
walzav29
He did the same thing last year. Remember the 2nd drive against Pittsburgh? It was 3-0 and he dropped a touchdown and they settled for a field goal. What would someone have to do to look shady to you?
membengal
Be caught in the act of taking money to shave points. The allegation, even on a message board, is retarded and irresponsible.
MacD BengalFan
I think NASCAR has the conspiriacy theory market cornered. Sorry, but I don't think there is any support for anything like this.
walzav29
Forgive me for being a pessimist, but when a criminal with great hands routinely drops touchdowns while not covering the spread it looks funny to me. I guess I'm the only one.
BengalPimp
Dave Lapham thinks he got soft after getting lit up earlier in the season.Hello---THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING FOR OVER A MONTH NOW......that p***y hears the Footsteps and gets scared------She (christina henry) doesnt want to get hit......If She didnt want to get hit, she should have been a Punter or placekicker, not a WR
agreen_112
Cmon dude, you can't be serious? You got into my stash didn't ya?? That's the most rediculous thing I've heard all season. Everyone has drops, he'll get back on track, he's just in a slump. I think Lapham was right to a certain extent. The one deep ball up the left sideline, when Chris only put up one hand, he was definitely scared to get hit.... Rightfully so, that safety #43 was all over the damn place laying the wood last night. Chris is a petty thug, he's not a felonious criminal that has ties to the mafia dude....
GapControl
Chris is a petty thug, he's not a felonious criminal that has ties to the mafia dude....It does happen in sports at every level... but to suggest that Henry has been shaving points since his rookie season and into this season, it seems to me he would need to be owing serious money. How could the guy possibly owe that much money when he is only 2 years in the league? To lend credence to this matter, do you think he was in some type of trouble from his college days and he was unable to pay his way out of it after being drafted? BengalPimp
.I dont want to type it all again, but read what I wrote in another thread(new name...for cheech)Try as Henry might, Henry is definately not a thug. Thugs arent pu$$ies, like Christina Henry.Bottom line: Last 7 Games = 13 receptions / 193 yards / 4 TD'sSuperstar averages of Not even 2 catches per game / 27.5 yards per game ---people want to praise her for her TD's, but the only reason she has any, is that she knows that nobody will hit her in the end-zone.Reality Check------SHE GOT SHUT-OUT / NO CATCHES IN 2 OF THE LAST 3 GAMES (INDY/RAVENS)despite being thrown to numerous times
walzav29
In the Ronnie Harmon example on inside sports they said that all it takes is 1 time in college. Then out of fear of being caught or a worse debt it snowballs. I never said it was the mafia. I'm just looking at the facts.1. He has drops in the end zone2. He has numerous run-ins with the law and the wrong crowd3. All of his touchdown drop games the Bengals didn't cover the spread. He had a touchdown drop long before the Steelers blasted him. He did it in the game against the Patriots this year, and the Steelers last year. I've seen him make remarkable catches. To have sure TD drops against theSteeelers 2005Patriots 2006Ravens (Didn't even jump) 2006Chargers (with 2 pt conversion would have tied game) 2006Colts last night 2006All games that they didn't cover. Remember he missed 3 games because of suspensions this year.
BengalPimp
her drops even in the end-zone (see SD game) were because she heard footsteps and the little biotch didnt want to take a hit
Stripes
This is quite a reach, Walzav. What do you really think is more likely? Henry is dropping the ball on purpose to bring to fruition some elaborate Vegas plot, or he is dropping the ball because he can't make the catch?
agreen_112
This is crazy, I can't believe that you actually believe this? God forbid that he drops a pass or two, and people automatically look for wild answers. This is too funny, all I can do or say is just laff.Bengalpimp, you make it sound like it's so easy. He's in his second year. Houshy couldn't catch s**t for atleast 2-3 seasons so STFU! I'm going to write in my notes what your saying and the next time Henry catches 2 in a game you better not say s**t.
