johnson85
I agree anything before OS X sucked but OS X is so much better plus the Intel macs are so much better...Dont have to worry about viruses.
skyline
Nice.I'm a dedicated PC user. Macs just don't make sense for the type of computer user I happen to be.
HoosierCat
Cute. Full of sh*t, but cute. I've had Macs as my primary computer for something like 15 years. Started with an old SE right at the beginning of the system 7 era and now use one of the intel-based macs. Can't say I've ever had any of the problems this gag reel alleges.Don't get me started about the horrors of PCs. You all can have 'em. jditty47
pick your poison. i hate macs and i dont mind fixing on my pc from issues, i know it'll mash a mac when its running good.
BengalszoneBilly
Macs just can't handle my gaming requirements, hence I'll never own one as my primary rig. I could see using one for internet surfing and such.
skyline
Don't get me started about the horrors of PCs. You all can have 'em. If you know what you're doing, there are ZERO "horrors" involved. Seriously. For the average computer user, though, I can definitely understand the appeal of a Mac. HoosierCat
If you know what you're doing, there are ZERO "horrors" involved. Seriously.Oh, I'm not talking about traditional horrors (like viruses or trying to find some obscure driver or fighting with the system to find a peripheral). What I've found in my particular line of work -- which can be done using PCs or Macs -- is that the PC solutions, even when produced by the same company that produces Mac version (or vice-versa) tend to be more cumbersome, less intuitive, and create individual files of ridculously disparate sizes. We're talking mac versions of 500k versus PC versions that are 20 megs. The issue is less than it was, if only because the new Linux-based Mac OS is a lot more "PCish" than the previous Mac operating systems. The amount of memory you need just to run the system is more than most old Macs had in total. Or even newer ones; I have an old iMac gathering dust in a back room that's still running System 8.somethingorother. It's theoretically capable of running OSX, but with its meager memory it isn't capable of running anything else at the same time. I actuallly prefer the old Mac System 7 (and 8 and 9) OS's to the new OSX. But alas, time marches on...
