duus Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Yeah, yeah, I know ... let's get into the playoffs before we start discussing who it is we might play. To bad. Here goes.More than likely, barring a Chargers melt-down, should the Bengals make the playoffs, they will be a 5th or 6th seed. In either case, they will likely play at the Patriots or at the Ravens.Where would you feel the Bengals chances are best? Why?I see many positives to both scenarios. In the end, however, I would rather take my chances in Baltimore, knowing we have played them very tough, we have won there recently, and they don't have Brady. Even if it is New England, however, I like our chances there as well. I bet the players would absolutely love another chance against them, and I have a feeling that Palmer and Co. will take advantage of a banged up defense this time around. Quote

Just as we did the Steelers last season. Quote
Stripes Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 If it comes down to New England or Baltimore, I'd take Baltimore ten times out of ten. The Bengals have already proven they can beat them, and frankly... home/away doesn't seem to make much of a difference for them. The Patriots are my Superbowl pick right now, and I want no part of them until the AFC Championship Game (I can look ridiculously ahead too! ) Quote
Tasher Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Balti, just for the added motivation! Quote
Kazkal Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Ravens are a no Brainer,Chris perry was returning kicks for first time sense HS...If it wasen't for that 1 fumble it would been whole different game...but crap happens so we loss.If we did advance past then I would like to play chargers after just a rematch because after giving up 42 pts in 1half you wanna have revenge. After that I'd probbley say the colts because if were in playoffs most likely we beat them in their dome once and I don't wanna play patriots at home.plus it's always fun to ruin peyton mannings this is the year...But IMO if we don't make it will be Chargers vs Bears in superbowl 41 Quote
