agreen_112 Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Me and a guy here at work were just talking about how Bret Farve still has a great arm and that he is one of the top QB's who throw the hardest. It got me thinking about Palmer's deep ball. Every QB has they're signature and this is definitely one of CP's. Don't you just love the way he sets up in the pocket and launches a beautiful 30-40 yard pass (sometimes even further) with ease? He's absolutey got a freakin cannon for an arm. It's something that most QB's dream about and Carson makes it look so easy. Carson will be the QB that most of us guys will tell our grandson's about and one of the first things that we'll mention is his .22 caliber arm. Long range and deadly accurate. We truly are blessed to have him as our QB, and if everything goes well we'll be seeing a SB sometime in the near future with the golden boy as our QB... Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 I always know when Carson wants to throw the deep ball by the position of his shoulders. Anytime I see that front shoulder higher than the back one, I know he's gonna air it out, and I get excited as hell.Mechanically, he may be the best QB EVER. Perfect mechanics. My favorite pass to watch him throw, the deep out. The hardest throw for a QB and in Carson's lingo, a "dime" throw for #9 Quote
agreen_112 Posted November 30, 2006 Author Report Posted November 30, 2006 Simply amazing. We're very blessed. Quote
Stripes Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 I think Carson's best throws are the ones he squeezes into the corner of the endzone for Chad (or Henry last week). Friggin' perfect. Quote

PMThor Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 You know what? I love seeing Carson check down. When he sees that his first, and then his second recievers are covered, he can still hit the swing out reciever, or the RB.Some QBs just lollygag the ball out to the last resort. Carson can still hit the guy on his fingertips. It's not about the reciever. It's not about the route. It's about the passer.Carson is my QB. He can hit the players, no matter what position, no matter what route, no matter what down.Carson Palmer is the Quarterback. The Quarterback. Quote
BengalPimp Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 I've said this many times before, and I'll say it again, If asked to describe Palmer in 1 word, I simply cannot, It would have to be 2, to emphasize what he is......those 2 words? TRULY SPECIAL Quote
bengalsfansince68 Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 So what?Did some moderator delete sexywendy's post?Pretty rude guys Quote
DontPushMe Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 best qb in the league as far as im concerned Quote
BengalPimp Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 best qb in the league as far as im concernedNo doubt. Look no further than the "Measuring-Stick" of NFL QB's, Peyton Manning, compare this season and last seasons numbers for the 2. almost identical, and remember that Carson is only in his 4th year(3rd playing) Manning in his 9th.....Scary how great Carson could be and already is.....SCARY Quote
BengalsMan3203 Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 The best thing to watch from Palmer is when he takes the snap and drops back 7 steps... Then he jumps up in the pocket and just unleases that high majestic deep ball to a Chad Johnson streaking down the middle un covered for the TD.Hell - Any pass Carson throws is great to watch this year boys. CBin2k7 Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 Carson is a pretty remarkable person. To come back from that knee injury in 8 months is a testament to his character. There is no better QB to lead this team, you can tell that people will jump through a wall for Carson. When it's all said and done, Carson may be heading to Canton. The Bengals just have to get him some super bowls, and I know he will be there. Quote
agreen_112 Posted December 4, 2006 Author Report Posted December 4, 2006 Did anyone happen to catch ESPN's Sunday Morning program and see/hear the part were Berman asked several questions about who the best players and at what categories they where the best at? He asked one question which was "Who throws the best ball?" Carson was unanamously picked by Coach Ditka, TJ and the dude with the glasses. Berman also noted that "it" (Carson's throw) is a thing a beauty! And also something about the best since Warren Moon. "It" really is, there isn't a better throw in the league IMO. Quote
jonahdsage Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 a few highlights for me recently --carson in regards to the flea flicker lastweek:"the line was pretty crowded, so i couldn't see TJ. From the crowds reaction I knew he was open so i threw it where he should be." touchdown. now i'm not sure carson said exactly that -- but c'mon. CP in the house.Carsons big pass to TE reggie kelly i think against cleveland -- you saw him look right to CJ, then check down to TJ and seeing the coverage he turns and throws almost at once to a wide open kelley and had it right on the money. It was so quick and fluid and just beautiful. Watching the giants game and seeing eli trying to force it to shockey so much made me appreciate carson all the more. I bet carson gets just as fired up to throw the deep ball to chad as we do but he doesn't seem to be set on throwing to chad every time. There's no one else i'd rather have QBing our team. Also made me grateful again hearing people talking about McNabb's injury and how they're hoping him to be ready for preseason games next year . . . carson's the man and i'm sure we could be friends if he would only return my calls Quote
Ox Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Mechanically, he may be the best QB EVER. Perfect mechanics. Now you and I both know that there is only on Best QB EVAR ----> TONY ROMO Quote
