Tasher
Oh, and Hair, please don't mention that you are going to watch the Bengals this week on the NFL Network. It is generating a little animosity around here at the moment! Yeah, living in Western PA, I have Comcast Cable, which does include the NFL Network. Yet, word has it that locally the game will not be available. Color me VERY UPSET! HairOnFire
Wow Hair! I want your job!!!! Well, I'm almost done with it so maybe we can work something out. BTW, I had a great trip home. FatherOnFire seems to be working through his health issues, MotherOnFire is still kicking, and I was able to see plenty of new babies and old relatives. BabiesOnFire? Other highlites included....taking 20 bucks from a Brown fan who somehow managed to marry his way into the family, scoring two cheese conies with extra onions and no mustard from the local Skyline, and finally...purchasing a pair of cherished Bengal pants that are so ugly they have to be seen to be believed. Seriously, they're hideous...yet they appealed to me on a gut and base level.

BengalsMan3203
So, are we going to be able to watch the game come Thursday Night?I live in Columbus and I have DirecTV - with the NFL Network. I'm good right? Or are they going to black it out?

It all depends on whether or not DirecTV is willing to throw the bucks to the NFL for that special 3 hour broadcast. If not, then they will show a tape of something else during that timeslot. Only possible blackout would be in a PRIMARY LOCAL viewing area, ie CINCINNATI, but it is sold out so that would probably not apply either. The problem is that certain cable operators do not have NFL Network as part of their cable package so subscribers have no ability to get the channel. If you have it, then you get the game. It is not special programming. One (of many) complaints is that secondary markets (Dayton, for instance) cannot bid to get rebroadcast rights so that they can carry the game on a local affiliate, as they are doing in Cincy. So your only option is to have NFLN.
ShulaSteakhouse
Who the $#@! puts "extra onions," or any at all, on a cheese coney? Good God man, they probably need to clean your system out, that is just foul. Yick!

Anyway, good news for me then. Can't wait.

HairOnFire
Who the $#@! puts "extra onions," or any at all, on a cheese coney? Damn Steakhouse, I'm starting to think you'll argue with me about anything. Strangely enough this reminds me of the scene in "Jackie Brown" where Robie finds out he's been ripped off, and sadly asks his pal..."What happened to you, man? Our chit used to be beautiful." And then it was one to the gut, and then one more to the chin.
