HoosierCat
Hmmmm mybe staceys can keep him on the bench or atleast be his future replacement heheImpossible. You see, the Bengals offensive line is coached by Paul Alexander, the worst coach in the entire Western Spiral Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. Unless he is given a first- or second-round draft pick to work with, he is completely incapable of developing a quality player. Since Stacy is a fourth-round pick, it is therefore by definition impossible for him to be any good. Any good play you have seen in the past out of 7th round selection Scott Kooistra or 4th round center Eric Guichiac is similarly impossible by definition... ShulaSteakhouse
Maybe the squirrel found a nut. It might be his first.
cover2
Besides Kilmer Stacey was the biggest surprise of the day. I frankly didn't think he had it in him. Happy feet no longer. He had a great game. I thought he would be called for off sides all day long and was gladly proved wrong. KK is a better player than any of his previous years. He is player who has improved every year. Great to see those guys step up.
derekshank
I remember during pre-season, HairOnFire had a fairly insightful post about Andrews. When he plays the Tackle position, he gets out on an island too often, and doesn't work with the O-Line as a unit. But when he plays guard, he has guys on either side of him, and that helps him stick with the unit, and he is less vulnerable than when he acts as an individual blocker.Anyway... I'm glad to see Andrews perform well. With him around it's looking less and less necessary to need Steiny back next year (who has terribly under-performed this year). Whitworth is a stud. He can move over to Tackle if we have any injuries, and Andrews can come in at guard. It's nice to have a guy that big and that strong as a back-up to rely on in a pinch.
