LesterLyles
don't underestimate the Jets. While they are hardly a top team, when Pennington is healthy they are playoff calibre. In fact he has proven that he can win playoff games. This idea that the Jets don't have "talent" is hogwash and basically a media tagline. Pennington is a winner in this league when healthy! If he goes down, I think you guys can safely dismiss the Jets. Otherwise, they are a very real factor. They have Chicago follwed by the Texans (h), the Packers (a), Bills (h), Vikes (a), Phins (a) and Raiders (h). Very winnable games.
membengal
Ravens' next two games are against the Falcons and Steelers. They COULD lose both of those. Just sayin'.It is not completely impossible that the Bengals could be within one game of the Ravens when they meet in three weeks.Stranger things have happened. For it to be at all interesting, I would seriously recommend the Bengals think about winning, and winning soon. Tasher
OKAY! We need to put our energies into a useful and POSITIVE pursuit! To that end, I have compiled (for this week) our nightly prayers and mantras to repeat ad nauseum to channel the appropriate energies and summon the spirits of the pigskin and Football Gods:Atlanta Falcons to beat the Baltimore Ravens, Amen.Chicago Bears to beat NY Jets, Amen.Cincinnati Bengals to beat NO Saints, Oh Lord Deliver Us.Oakland Raiders to beat KC Chiefs, Amen.San Diego Chargers to beat Denver Broncos, Amen. ( We still play Denver so we can beat them head to head to get the WC tie breaker, if we cant catch the Ravens for the Div.)NY Giants to beat Jacksonville Jaguars, Amen.Hail Mary, Full of Grace only work for the Bengals to save face, Amen. :angel:PS: Please liberally (or conservatively, if you so choose) substitute the religion, following, or whatever as you see fit for your flavor of religion, druidisim, voodoo, pagan, muslim or what have you for my christian oriented closings.
