Kazkal
The Bengals hope they can get a defensive starter back this week when strong-side linebacker Rashad Jeanty (foot) returns to practice Wednesday listed as probable for the first time since his Sept. 24 injury. But middle linebacker Brian Simmons (neck) is back to questionable after reaggravating his stinger last Sunday against Atlanta. Tasher
Adding any of our top guys back into the lineup has got to help.
agreen_112
How is Jeanty one of our top guys? He hasn't done anything here! What about Landon Johnson??? Will he be able to record one single tackle this week?
bengal4life
I'd say anytime your adding a few pounds a strong side it can't be a bad thing. Plus he'll help some on rushing downs. He's no Pollak but we'll use him the same way.
bengalboomer7
If at any time during the preseason you would have told be I'd be very excited to get Rashad jeanty back from injury, I'd a called you crazy. Now, i cant' wait to get him back
derekshank
Jeanty proved to be very little dropoff from Pollack when he got injured, which is less than I can say for Landon. I'll be happy to get Landon back to his natural weak-side, Brooks starting in the middle, and Caleb and Simmons playing back-up. That is the best we can do right now (until Simmons gets healthy if he moves to OLB again)
Stripes
Jeanty will boost the pass rush should he play. That's good enough for me.
duus
Jeanty will boost the pass rush should he play. That's good enough for me. And that is exactly what we are in desperate need of. Folks can talk about the run defense all they want, but if we begin to get some pressure on the QB, I think the rest will begin to take care of itself. So I agree ... very good to get him back. BengalByTheBay
How is Jeanty one of our top guys? He hasn't done anything here! What about Landon Johnson??? Will he be able to record one single tackle this week?Have you been watching? Jeanty has been solid and at times better in the games he played the first month. What exactly has been your complaint with him?
HoosierCat
Jeanty proved to be very little dropoff from Pollack when he got injured, which is less than I can say for Landon.Survey says: Ding!FWIW, I think Jeanty was better than Pollack. Yes, Pollack has (or had) more upside, but Jeanty is better right now. His return would be most welcome.

Now, i cant' wait to get him backIf you'd have said I'd be very excited to get some rookie from the CFL back from injury, I'd have said we're absolutely f***ed.Sad thing is, I'm really excited to see that rookie from the CFL back from injury. And currently, our D is definitely looking like it's, well, f***ed. Hopefully less so with Jeanty.Caleb Miller, thanks for playing. Now don't let the door hitcha in the ass. And if your tackling is any indicator, you have a fine career as a matador in front of you.
walshfan
If Jeanty plays the Sam Im hoping Johnson sits and Caleb Miller plays the Will.... at least he tackles runners!
agreen_112
If Jeanty plays the Sam Im hoping Johnson sits and Caleb Miller plays the Will.... at least he tackles runners!I agree with you on that. LJ has been an abosolute waste of a man. He's f**king terrible. Miller isn't any worse than LJ plus he's got speed and can actually tackle. Talk about a matador, look at LJ trying to tackle Vick! bengal4life
I could definetily see Miller at Will. With his speed he might even be able to cover Heap with a little help from KK or Williams.
