derekshank Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Other than Chatman being downgraded to doubtful, it looks like mostly good news compared to a day ago. The majority of the guys on our list are probable, and maybe most importantly... Jeanty practiced for the first time since he was injured. I still think we need Braham and Levi back... but at least we'll have the same starting cast we had last week against the best D-Line in the NFL. The Offense is warming up, the Defense is playing very well, and is getting healthy... and just in time too. We've got Atlanta Sunday, and then @Baltimore, SD and @ N.O. Quote
duus Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Well, as best I understand it Levi will be out about 2 more weeks, right? Just hoping he is back for the SD game. Also, it continues to stink to not know when/if Braham will be back. I'm personally hoping for December, but have absolutely no one of knowing one way or the other. Quote
Stripes Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 With Chatman at doubtful, I expect Henry on the field Sunday. It'll be nice to have Jeanty back if he can go, though he hasn't been as much of a contributor yet as he was in the preseason. Quote
BengalByTheBay Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 I agree that Henry will be activated. It just seems like typical Marvin to keep the suspense going until he has to make the move. Maybe he's trying to continue to scare Henry or something. Quote
mgilgris Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 I know marvin is staying mum on Richie but has anyone heard/seen if Richie has been working out at all or been able to do anything to stay in shape? I would assume he could do upper body lifting with a bum leg. Quote
JaxonFord87 Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Marvin isn't telling anybody if Henry is playing or not, because that is what any good coach would do. If you were playing the bengals, your game plan may have to change depending whether or not Henry plays. Good move by Lewis. Quote
schweinhart Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Not sounding too promising for Chat, which is bad with what he's been able to show returning punts and kicks Too bad Chris Perry can't return a kick of some kind. Oh well, there's always Kenny Watson. At least on KR. Guess the PR duties is back to Keiwan. Quote
ChadJohnson-85 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Im gonna be pi$$ed if Jeanty & Simmons don't play sunday. I would like to see Simmons & Jeanty @ OLB and Brooks in the middle. It would be way better then Brooks on the sidelines & Simmons the middle. Quote

Miller had a hell of a game last week. I constantly herd his name being called. I think Marvin will alternate Brooks and Simmons to have a mix of size and leadership at that position. Quote

redsbengalsbucks Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I would just like Friday to roll around and the other team to have more injury problems than the Bengals for once. Quote

HoosierCat Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I don't know how Atlanta's injury report looks, but ours looks like a party guest list it's so longda site tracks both teams' injury reports:http://www.bengals.com/team/InjuryReport.aspBad news for the Bengals iis that Coleman looks like he'll be back...but Babineaux (who was in for either Coleman or Abraham last week, I forget which) is now questionable with a heel injury.Any disruptions on their d-line is welcome news to our shaky o-line. Jeanty was doing just as good as Miller before he even got injured so I could care less where Miller is. Quote

But, that's just me. I like having Johnson and Miller as depth, in that order. Quote
