BZBot
His play on the field is as good, as his play off the field is bad. What should Marvin do? Source: http://www.bengalszone.com/article.php?sid=
agreen_112
No brainer, Marvin feels the same. You can't cut him, He'll get it straight. Too good to lose!No brainer, Marvin feels the same. You can't cut him, He'll get it straight. Too good to lose! That's just some bad writing. He'll play Sunday, there's some kind of rule that states Henry can practice with the team but does not have to be activated until practically gametime. Marv is exploiting the rule and keeping a full roster so that one extra guy can practice. He'll cut a scrub and Henry will play...
schweinhart
Play him til he pukes again Gotta get the wins now no matter what. With Dopey as the 3rd, there's no way to stop the offense as long as Palmer gets at least more than split seconds to throw.

SkinneymulleT
Never forget Stanley Wilson.Maybe someone could help me understand how a man(stainley) goes on a cocaine binge for a day and ends up passing out under a sink ? Does that make sense to anyone? Ive seen quite a few people on such binges and none of them pass out. Infact they are usually up all night and the next day untill it gets out of their system. And as for CH, He did his time now let him play(until his next suspension). With him and CPerry playing up to their potential we are almost unstopable (provided we can stop the flood up the middle). See, there's this point that you take so much coke that you "die." And if you get close, you OD.Or, as Rick James (God bless his sould) said,"Cocaine's a helluva drug"
TJJackson
Marvin has not given up on CH yet. Not sure why Heny has merited more trust than Odell, but it is what it is. The decimation of the receiver corp is almost certainly a factor. The talk about him being unsure if Henry will play this weekend is spin, designed to a) unnerve Henry, and lull the opponent into not preparing for himHenry is probably on his very last chance with Marvin, though. Don't be suprised if Marvin gives up on him as he did with Odell if there are any more off the field issues.

The decimation of the receiver corp is almost certainly a factor.A few reasons, probably:1) It's not so much that Henry is trusted more as the fact that Odell is banned for the year by the league.2) Right or wrong, Henry's actions haven't taken him off the field for as long.3) Odell got his DUI after being suspended for 4 games. That certainly implied that whatever "talking to" Marvin gave him, it did no good. One could say the same for Henry, since he was in the car, but at least he didn't get behind the wheel.4) I'm pretty sure that if Henry gets himself suspended for a longer amount of time, he's gone, just like Odell. The decimation of the receiver corp is almost certainly a factor.I would be willing to bet that it has a lot to do with Henry telling the truth to Marvin about his mistakes rather than lying to him (Marvin said that Odell lied to him). Also, I've heard that Odell missed a lot of meetings, and Marvin seems to be the kind of guy who doesn't put up with that kind of stuff. They are both similar as far as being idiots off the field... but it is my guess that Henry has shown sufficient drive and desire to make football a priority, while Odell has lacked the maturity to do so as of yet. He did. And I don't think you can say it was just because of the depleted WR position... because at the beginning of the season, everyone would have said we were deeper at WR than LB. Odell did something that caused Marvin to give up on him as an individual.

Oh, wait that is Direct TV customers... You are very right Kazkal...And with the stats he has in the games he played. Demonstrated that they can definitely use him. Stripes
Unlike odelll...Henry hasa card hidden up his sleeve its about 6'5 has a rocket for a arm.Well said, and agreed. Had Palmer and the other receivers not lobbied to Marvin their desires to have him on the field, this probably isn't even a discussion. Demonstrated that they can definitely use him. After that article on bengals.com, I figured up CH's percentages of catches gone for TD's and I came up with 19% of his catches in the past 2 seasons have gone for TD's. That has to be an NFL record considering how many games he's played.
