Tasher Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 CBS article talks about it, and all the game photos show it off pretty conspicuously...Wonder what is going on here? Quote
skyline Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 I wondered yesterday if that was a new thing. Maybe just weather related? Quote
schweinhart Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Maybe explains why he was pushing the ball at the end of some of his throws. Quote
Tasher Posted October 26, 2006 Author Report Posted October 26, 2006 Okay, after watching the replay on NFL Network, I have figured it out.Much has been made of all the fumbles that Carson has had early this year. So the glove must be a reaction to try to secure the ball better and reduce the fumbleitis. Wew, glad to have that resolved. Quote

Stripes Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Play nice, kids.Yes, Dad, and can I have .50 cents for a piece of candy? I think you mean peace of candy, son. Quote
JoePong Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Play nice, kids.Yes, Dad, and can I have .50 cents for a piece of candy? Actually, that would be kind of difficult. They don't make half pennies any more...which is what .50 cents is. Or did you mean 50 cents? Even my second grader knows that too! It seems spelling AND math are difficult concepts... Quote

HairOnFire Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Joe Pong is NOT a funny person. However, I must admit that I find the concept of Joe Pong to be freaking hilarious. Perhaps it's just me. Quote
bengal4life Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 God what was I thinking even Spain knows the difference between sence and cents. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I'm wouldn't advocate wearing one glove at any time! Quote
Reimersfan88 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Actually, if I was pushing the ball on my throws, I would want to wear a glove. Better grip, tighter spiral, less arc. Of course, I'm fat and sit on my couch breaking down football. So, for whatever it's worth. Quote
