K2...what can you say? That guy is as clutch as a defensive player can get. He even did a great job making sure he got both feet down in the endzone.

Rudi stayed back and blocked absolutely nobody on the only sack that I saw. Pressure came from the outside and Rudi blocked nothing on the inside. Whitworth was blocking Rucker on that play and he blocked him perfectly. Whitworth gets the game ball w/ Palmer coming a close second. K2 had a big play but that was a horrible pass that was thrown right at K2. Madieu was all over the field and Ahmad looks like a keeper. Odells days are numbered at middle linebacker. Chatman looks like the good return man that we've been missing since Warrick. Great day to be a Bengals fan. Who-Dey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa, Chatman is OK but Tab is one of the best KR's in the game, when healthy.

That should be 240 yards for Palmer, not 140. And, he got my vote. Didn't force things, made big throws, and you can see the timing starting to get there.

Mini game ball to Brat for emphasizing the TEs again...

actually he tryed force a few things he just got lucky.

Yeah... there were a couple balls that could have been picked that weren't... but when it comes down to it, in the 2nd half his passer rating was almost 100 pts better than Delhomme's. That's saying something.

He was clearly off of his game in the first half, but showed why he's one of the best. He didn't let it snowball. He didn't get discouraged. He just kept going out there, and eventually got it going.

Is it just me, or is that 4th and 1 call going to seem like the turning point in the season? So many things we've been waiting for occured on that one play. A 4th down conversion; a deep pass to Chad; an aggressive play call late in the game; a TD drive late in the game while trailing... It just meant so much!

I have to go with Carson the way he put the ball to CJ on 4th & 1 play + the 2 TDs. I just hope they don't try any dumb play's like that again this season until they play the raiders. :P

Kaz, no offense, but that's a borderline ridiculous comment. In the course of any given game, any qb is going to have a throw or two he wants back. In this case, the Bengals were real lucky Lucas dropped a sure pick. But, you cannot minimize what Palmer got done, behind a makeshift line. He stood in, he made his reads, he used his tight ends, he made throws accurately and with force into spots where receivers were pretty blanketed. I am pretty damn sure not one of us will ever understand just how good his throw to CJ on that 4th and 1 was in terms of difficulty given the wind and the tight coverage. It boggles my mind that even Bengals fans underestimate and short Palmer for how good he is.

When the line gives him even a smidgen of time, he is deadly. And, mind you, as I and others have been saying for months now, Palmer will only get better as he continues to accumulate the reps he missed this off-season while recuperating from that knee injury.

Lucky? Far f**king from it.

There was one play that Carson made (or didn't make) I was especially impressed with. It was a planned quick pass to Chad (you know... Palmer hikes the ball, immediately throws it, Chad runs for a few yards).

Well, the DB jumped the route, and it probably would have been picked. Carson started to throw it, but recognised it before he let the ball go, and decided to throw it completely over everyone's head out of bounds. An incomplete pass? Sure... but no INT run back for a TD.

Great decision by Carson, and it's those kinds of things that don't show up on a stat sheet that make Palmer one of the best.
