schweinhart
The Steelers are done. Fork 'em.Fork 'em. They'll be lucky to finish 6-10. Of course I say that every year.
HairOnFire
I am not trying to cheer him up. It's just that the Steelers' schedule was front-loaded hard, Roeth is still getting his football legs under him, and as the sked eases off, he will get better. And so will Pittsburgh. Way too early to write them off. Where's the harm if I write them off too early? What would hurt me deeply is if I passed on this opportunity to make a little fun of our Steeler brethren in a thread started by one of their numbers entitled..."Go Ahead" I have been granted license to make fun. I have been encouraged to utter the phrase...."I told you so." I shall not wilt from my duty to make fun of the bluntskulled. Besides, I truly believe that we're finally seeing the REAL Ben Roethlisberger, even though it's almost certain that he'll improve some. membengal
No, no, you go ahead and write them off. Perhaps you are right about this being the real Roeth, he sure isn't what he was before the motorcycle and appendix. His game was predicated, in part, on picking up tough yards with his physicality and ability to withstand hits. He doesn't look like that same guy this year. jditty47
does anyone forget he looked like this BEFORE his motorcycle accident and appendix removal?
BengalszoneBilly
Pile On!!For fear of being labled a coward, I thought I'd stop in and take my lumps. After last nights beat down, us Steeler fans certainly deserve a fair dose of "I told you so". I could be totally wrong but I just can't see this team turning things around and making a run for the playoffs. Looks as though it's now a two horse race. Not that it means anything but I'll pull for the Bengals over those Ratbirds anyday. Good Luck on the rest of the season. Btw, if ya'll don't mind, I'd still like to stop by and talk football with ya. Great board and great fans. Even though my team may be an afterthought to ya'll, it would be a pleasure to participate. WTF!?! A classy Steeler Fan!?! What's this world coming too!?! You're okay johnstownsteel. Personally I'm not writing your Steelers off quite yet. Cowher just might pull his head out of his a$$ and start his best QB (Charlie Batch) and actually return Pittsburgh to winning games. BTW you're welcome anytime. All I ask is you try to rub some of your class off on some of the other Steeler fans in your town.
