Sox Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Monco typically trolls the Insider board, but he mentions this one.He has been bitter beyond belief after the loss.I would be willing to bet that he is embellishing what was actually said...http://mb29.scout.com/fsteelersfrm51.showM...icID=6904.topic Quote
jjakq27 Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 That was funny. Thanks for posting the link.Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Sam did not have a particularly great game. Simmons has done well filling in for Thurman especially in the Cleveland game. And our "lousy" defense held the Steelers to 20 points.Being two games down can warp people a little. Drinking Iron City or Rolling Rock will give you bitter beer face too. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Funny how some people claim to know so much about another team, only to come off as idiots... Maybe they weren't watching the game last week. Trouble with the defense that held you to 20 points ??? Like I said, funny...WHODEY !!! Quote
walzav29 Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Steeler fans are having a hard time coping with winning a Superbowl, but still being 2nd fiddle in their own division. Even non-Bengal fans know that the Steelers wouldn't have won the Superbowl if it wasn't for the "incident". As bad as the Bengals played last week, they won by 8. It's ridiculous. Quote
rishipatel Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Who the f*ck cares what some dumba*s Stooler fan thinks anyway. All that matters is that we got the "W", and they have a losing record. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Can't post on there o_O keeps saying temp oassword is wrong what a gay board, anyways:p what do they know they say sam adams is a bust yet the reason why we brought him in was not to move Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 SemiOtter (Kudos to one of our fine veteran members) blasted them with the facts of the matter, and of course they chose to ignore such facts. Goofs! Quote
jjakq27 Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Bill, it's no use. They get 'em right away after they are born. It's all downhill after that. It carries over into adulthood. People will actually name their children after the QB's number! Then it's another generation wasted. Quote

Simmons has done well filling in for Thurman especially in the Cleveland game. And our "lousy" defense held the Steelers to 20 points.Yep... our "lousy" defense is also holding teams to 15.7 points/game, compared to the elite Steelers defense which is allowing 18 points/game.Also... we're only allowing 23 yards more per game than the Steelers. Yep... they are way better than us. If we're so "lousy" I would hate to think what it must feel like to be a Steelers fan. Really lousy defense... and Ben Roethlisberger as my QB. Damn... I'd be waking up in a cold sweat every night. Quote
Stripes Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 The Bengals have played well on defense against two teams with questions all over the offensive line. In their first game against a real team, they floundered big time, IMO, at least against the run. Quote
