Steel Legends
I came to give kudos to you guys for winnin the big game!!! From what I can see your team is still improving but it did what it needed to get the job done...Barring any serious injuries I think it will be you and Indy battling it out for the AFCCG and that's an early predicition...Yes we have a long way to go but right now you guys have a great offense and there is only 1 other team that has it and that is Indy...Steelers when we are clickin are very good with balance on both sides but right now we aren't even in same league...With a 1-2 record I do see us getting over the hump because we have a great defense but with Ben's chemistry with playmakers not there you guys are the team...Ravens are just still finding there way but they look decent...They have the vets but I think your offense is going to be tough to beat...GL for the rest of the way and I think when we meet during last game of the season could have much on the line like home field, wild card for us... Thanks for the props and for not getting nasty. We're used to getting Jerka$$ type Steeler fans in here so it's pleasant to see somone not Trolling or starting any garbage. Regarding your anaysis, I think you're right with respect to both teams. It's a long season and A LOT will happen. Still, it looks to me like the Bengals are slowly getting over that decade long hump. The Steelers are still a good team. That defense is as nasty as ever. I've been saying it since he came into the league that Ben is a GOOD qb but not an elite qb. This last week is a perfect example of what separates good ones from great ones. When the Bengals HAD to get the points (97 yeard drive) Palmer led the team to get them. When the Steelers HAD to score (the last drive) he didn't get the job done. To further clarify, Ben is perfect for the Steelers offense in that he is mobile, has a good enough arm (when healthy) and can run the offense well. However, he has not been asked to carry a team like many quarterbacks are required (at least at times) to do. When he shows that he can consistenly do those things, I'll start including him in the Manning-Brady-Palmer level. I came to give kudos to you guys for winnin the big game!!! By the way, you can tell Joey Porter to shut is pie hole now. I know intimidation is part of the Steelers game plan but he just comes off looking like an idiot. If he'd quit mouth sh*ting and play his game, I'd really like him as a player.

Wasn't it you that said this very same line last year after Cincinnati won the game in Pittsburgh? If it wasn't you, it was another Steeler fan that frequents here! Well we'll have none of that flying in below the radar on us, then running off and winning the Super Bowl again Mr. Legends!
Stripes
Thanks for the props, Legends. The Steelers are one of the best teams in the AFC, and the standings will certainly reflect that by the end of the season.Looking foward to the rematch. BigBenBlows
I was glad when the game was over with no OT. I think I would have had a heart attack if it would have lasted much longer. Thanks for the vote of confidence Legend.
