ArmyBengal Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 At this point, bagging on Troy Smith is just crazy. The guy can play and will continue to impress this season. None of that means the guy will be a great NFL QB, but none of it means he won't either. WHODEY !!! Quote
derekshank Posted September 11, 2006 Author Report Posted September 11, 2006 Troy Smith is 6'1"This is the same height as Donovan McNabb, Steve McNair, and an inch taller than Mike Vick. Did their height hurt their draft status?By the way... Steve Young and Joe Montana were 6'1" too. That really hurt their careers in the NFL, huh? Quote
Kazkal Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 mcnabb is only 6'1? Ill eat crow then lol I thought mcnabb was 6'3 atleastI just got butt hurt and was trying defend jordan Quote
kayaker0678 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Its prolly going to be like tim and matt. I think it would be smart for us to draft him in the 4 or 5 round Quote

Those, especially on short QBs, are always at least 1 inch high, sometimes 2 or 3. That guy is 6 foot tall at best. That said i think he could be an ok nfl qb. Palmer i think will end up a 2nd round pick. I hope he doesnt go in the AFC North so i can be a fan of the guy. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I'd like to see palmer end up on the rams or lions Quote
Stripes Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I really don't think Troy Smith has a gun. His armstrength is moderate at best. Quote
