GregCook Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Has anyone had a Jermi sighting during the preseason? While I was able to view few games, I don't recall seeing him in action much. I wonder, now that he has that nice long term deal if Marvin is keeping him as a September surprise. For instance his role expanding to catching more passes by, for instance, lining up in the tight end slot on passing downs? Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Yeah he played in the preseason, but is doing a lot of blocking - and they didn't run the ball much this year with the 1st teamers in preseason. Quote

Stripes Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 I think JJ emerged as a real threat in the receiving game last year... Maybe he could pick up some of the slack now that Perry is out. I don't expect his role to go far beyond plain old blocking though. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 I love what JJ brings to the team... A big guy with some speed, power, and the ability to catch our of the backfield...WHODEY !!! Quote
