aaronburr
No surprises, in my opinion. Unless you were expecting 3 TE's to make the team. I still would've picked McNeal over KWash.I don't see Bennie. I presume he's PUP with Chris Perry.
CantStop85
Brazell on the IR? Wow, I didn't know he was injured that bad.No Henderson, Dorsey, McNeal, or Wilkerson. 8 linebackers...Overall, I like what I see.

Wow, I didn't know he was injured that bad.No Henderson, Dorsey, McNeal, or Wilkerson. 8 linebackers...Overall, I like what I see.Yeah, this is somewhat of a surprise, but better on the IR and retain rights, than release him. He is not very experienced but you gotta think that with another year, he might be explosive.Body to the IR is another pretty big surprise.I am also somewhat surprised that Dorsey is not on the PUP or IR.Think Cleveland has claimed Wilk yet? Kazkal
Yay Kdub and the squirrel dance remain a bengal,Glad to see 8 backers too I'm sure wilkin gets the axe for odell inless a injury happens.Glad to see we're able keep brazzel even though he won't play for a year though it will give him more time to devlope.Brazell on the IR? Wow, I didn't know he was injured that bad.Mybe they pulled a joe gibbs and just wanted to keep him around so IR'd him for a minor thing
aaronburr
I don't get putting Bennie on IR. On PUP he would've been available in 6 weeks, which might be good timing for a Henry suspension.
BlainThePain
I guess TJ was wrong about Henderson having a better chance to make the final roster than Peko.

On PUP he would've been available in 6 weeks, which might be good timing for a Henry suspension.I'm guessing that they won't do anything in the way of roster moves, Kwash won't dress most weeks (remember they can ony dress 45) so if Henry gets suspended for 4 games, just means Kwash will dress in Henry's spot.Kwash has been a monster all preseason! aaronburr
Think Cleveland has claimed Wilk yet? I have visions of Romeo Crenel hovering over Bengals.com waiting for the cut announcements. Or calling Marvin every couple of hours..."Have you decided yet? Huh? I'll pay for his ticket to Cleveland..."Hopefully he won't be ready to play in Week 2.Kwash has been a monster all preseason!I'm over KWash. I'd rather see an up-and-comer get a shot. I have visions of Romeo Crenel hovering over Bengals.com waiting for the cut announcements. Or calling Marvin every couple of hours..."Have you decided yet? Huh? I'll pay for his ticket to Cleveland..."Hopefully he won't be ready to play in Week 2. I watched him last night and he looked slow and he didn't seem to engage his blocks for very long. I was disappointed especially with the time that the Bengals put in him. I had hoped he would make it with his history in college..As far as KWash, I think that he is too good to cut if they couldn't trade him. Also I don't think anything is going to happen to Chris Henry this year. Not from the Bengals and not from the league.I would expect that a few of the cuts will be back after they clear waivers too. Guys like DeDe Dorsey, Busing, Tahi, the linemen and McNeil, Wilkerson or Henderson if they clear.Seven rookies on defense make it vs. one on offense. I was happy with the play of Peko, Jeanty and Joseph this preseason. I hope their excellent play continues into the season. I think Marvin finally has overhauled the D into his type of unit. Fraley is the club's ninth center since the end of last season."I guess that Wilk could join the merry-go-round. Maybe he makes it to the PS, wouldn't that be a shocker! aaronburr
Brown's depth chart Check it out. They have nobody listed as first string center. Also from the Browns' site:"The Browns also waived NT Babatunde Oshinowo, a 2006 sixth-round pick, and their final three 2005 draft picks: Speegle, OG Andrew Hoffman and OT Jonathan Dunn."Maybe they're better off without draft picks. DontPushMe
No suprises at all. At the people who seriously thought Wilkerson was our center of the future. Even bigger At those who said Henderson was better than Peko/Rucker.Sucks that Body had to go on IR, I think he would of been good to have on the roster this year, and I believe he would have made it over Jones or Kilmer. Im REALLY happy with the 2 TE decision. Keeping a 3rd tight end would have meant keeping a player who is substantially worse than whoever was cut to make room for him. None of those guys competing for the 3rd TE spot were even remotely impressive.I love our backups on the o-line. They are all versitile, and I think 2 can step in as starters when Steinbach leaves as a free agent and Braham retires. My picks in that are the obvious 2, Ghiacuic and Whitworth. walshfan
I know I bring this up quite often but Kooistra is the guy that seems to be overlooked by everyone most of the time..This guy is rock solid...big 6'6" 320lbs, versatile and Nasty...uses his hands well, can pull at guard and could start for allot of teams..When asked about the depth on the Oline Steinbach singled out Koos and said he's one mean dude on the field....He and Whitworth and Bluto give the team much needed quality depth. ShulaSteakhouse
I like Greg Brooks the more I see him play. May very well be a better CB than Ratliff soon.Kilmer was a bit of a suprise. DeDe and McNeal have a lot of potential, not sure they'll ever get a shot here though, which frankly kind of sucks. Kiewan Ratlilff is decent but lacks the speed Lewis loves... instinctive and a good tackler though..He may fall to the fifth spot in the corner depth this year...
